Hi!

I have seen a suggestion which asks to disable the messages icon so that it does not disturb us. So I revised it and suggest an option to not show the notification badge.

Messages badges may be distracting but a feature to remove them? i think its unnecessary just simply ignore them. I haven't clicked on my message box for 2 years (atleast, not counting accidental click.)

No this was just to make a suggestion better than one which suggests to doable the message box

I see what you're saying, but I still support this suggestion because the notification badge could be stress-inducing for some people.

if the orange circle is disturbing you why not just click on it to make it go away? sure it stays sometimes but would disappear over time

by the way the main reason is that one created a post to disable the icon. so i made it somewhat better

I support, the very constant times I have to check my messages is very very annoying.
