Oooh I just had an idea, so if event 2 is scavenger hunt, it could be a villian battle, or it could be like, the campers have to guess a code for something? 'Cause that could work with the scavenger hunt, but the villian battle could too. Just giving ideas

i like the guess the code! because then they can search for various letters/symbols/etc!

to recap thus far (plus adding on to some things)

event 1- training/writing prompt
dates: 1-4
storyline: we train them to become spider-heroes!
task: campers are given a writing prompt and must write 300 words based on the prompt
unlock: by completing this, they unlock banners!

event 2- code/scavenger hunt
dates: 6-9
storyline: we need help remembering the code to the animal room
task: campers are given a list of hints for usernames of (co)leaders to go around and ask for pieces of the code
example: “donuts are my pokemon's favorite food” corresponds with eeveedonut and i would give them a letter/number for the code
unlock: by finding the code, they unlock SPIDER-PETS!!!

event 3- rescue citizens of spider writing camp/swc fanfic collab
dates: 11-14
storyline: some participants of spider writing camp need help ((co)leaders, not from illu-fi)! their cabins are on fire!
task: at least 3 campers must write a total of 700 words for a swc/spider-verse fanfic collab
unlock: by completing this they earn their title as a full spider-hero

event 4- battle against villian1/games
dates: 16-19
storyline: time for the first battle! someone is causing mischief and chaos and it's up to the campers to stop them!
task: there are 3 options (3 word stories, fortunately/unfortunately, letter disappearance) and at least 5 campers must participate in order to defeat the villain!
unlock: by completing this they earn new, fancier banners!

event 5- battle against villian2/writing workshop
dates: 21-24
storyline: uh oh! not another battle against another villain!
task: campers must write their own writing workshop about anything! 3 campers must write their own with at least 400 words each
unlock: another spider-pet!

boss battle/writing
dates: 26-31
storyline: a final battle against the 2 minor villains and their boss trying to get them to turn good
task: campers must write at least 20000 total words to turn the villains good!
unlock: a peaceful city

1. how would we like to do these? a forum, a studio, projects?

1. I think I'd prefer a forum or projects, since they're a bit easier to look back on if people need to catch up etc. Maybe we could have a main forum for storyline updates (as well as list it in the studio description) and such? And then for rewards (banners, etc.) should be in projects.
2. Something related to animals (since we're in a zoo), their spider-sona, or just something fun! I think it'd be really cool if we had them create a spider-sona and then write a 300 word story where their spider-sona saves the day.
3. Hmm, it could either be a word, a string of numbers, a poem, a few words, or a made-up word. Personally, I think it'd be fun to do a poem and then a few (co)leaders would have a line of the poem and then the rest are red herrings!
4 & 5 I can't think of any ideas at the moment but if I come up with something I'll be sure to let you know!

2. I think a prompt where they write about their spider-sona doing stuff work be cool! I like Kenzie's idea of having them make a spider-sona and write about them saving someone!
3. A word could work well as the code, and people could give the campers letters or something

okay hm i like those but a) they save people in event 3 and collab write about it and b) they create spider-sonas in the character creator questionnaire project so i think we need something different ^^"

maybe the first letter of each line is part of the code which is a word?

onto the topic of projects! here's a list of what we'll need:
- cabin guide
- pfps (ayla)
- banners (ris)
- character creator questionnaire project
- event 1: writing prompt
- event 2: scavenger hunt
- event 3: collab
- event 4: games
- event 5: workshop
- boss battle: write
there are (so far) 10 projects total! that means each of us will share at least 3. there might be more that we need as we go on but for now i think this is our finalized list! does anyone have any preference over sharing what? preferably we alternate who shares events so someone doesnt share two in a row. wed all help out with questions and instructions for each event so all that you share is a description and slideshow pretty much :zany:

Oooh idea maybe the prompt for the first event could be something along the lines of discovering your spider powers? Like how some spider-people have unique abilities, they could discover those and write about what powers they have and how they discover them?

I'll get that list of powers and stuff done as soon as possible!

Also, i'd be happy to share any of those projects
