(item [] of [] :: list)

I need it for a script that looks more or less like this:

when green flag clicked
ask [what list do you want] and wait
say (join [item 1 of list is ] (item [1] of (answer) :: list)) for (2) secs
say (join [Item 2 of list is ] (item [2] of (answer) :: list)) for (2) secs
