So, I've been seeing spam from hacked accounts. It's worrying me that so many accounts are getting hacked. I've also been hearing from other scratchers how someone has been spamming things like “YOUR PROJECT HAS BEEN SPAMMED AND SO HAVE OTHER PROJECTS!” over and over. I'm honestly scared that my account may be hacked. I think that the scratch team should stop using bots to handle banning players and handle things manually. I had to report a commenter who kept spamming “600794 END OF SCRATCH SOON YOU WILL ALL BE SPAMMED ON FEATURED TRENDING POPULAR GRIFFTOPIA GWDFI GAEHIVE AND MORE” with the number at the beginning changing every time the user commented. (sorry for yapping here, I just think this is a very serious issue I should go into detail about.) So, as I said before, Scratch should fix these issues manually.

There is not much reason to panic. It is very unlikely someone will hack your account. As for you saying ST should do something manually, ST does not use bots. They just have a filter in place to prevent certain words from being said. Most moderator actions are done by a human. Please refrain from making topics on spammers as it only serves to spread rumors and give them attention.

The numbers are RNTAS ( random number to avoid spam ) which they use to avoid spam detection. Just keep silently reporting and ignoring them and use the Contact Us. There's not much to worry about and you won't get hacked.

Please use the Report button on any projects or comments that go against the Community Guidelines. That sends a link right to the Scratch Team moderators so they can look at the issue directly and take any necessary action.
