Why Did They Take Away The "<When touching *colour>" Block?

I noticed that it is gone, but I have the block because I had backpacked a piece of code with the block in it.
So, technically I still have it.
Another question- is it ‘illegal’ on Scratch to have a piece of code (like the When touching Colour block) when it is gone? Can I keep it? Or do I have to delete it?

It still exists. It just only works for sprites, and not backdrops.
