╰▹ Hi, I'm @-Flamefall- , but call me Flame, Nox, or Abyss! I'm a roleplay enthusiast and a digital/traditional artist who doodles silly little creatures. I enjoy unique creature designs, especially when they have something to do with plants! I absolutely love books <3 Bird and reptile enthusiast, shout-out to my irl pet birb, Azure! I play Roblox and The Battle Cats a lot hehe. Also an avid New York Times player- best Wordle was in 3 tries > Love the Mini, Strands, Connections, and Wordle sm (I would love to play the Crossword but they obviously had to make it paid *sob*) I'm pretty friendly and extroverted-ish (in the sense that I don’t interact with people I don’t know, but if I do know a person, I can yap with them for hours haha), though I do have major mood swings (which eh, don’t happen very frequently :’) ). I am very sleep deprived but eh haha :’) I act like a 10-year old brainrot kid at times and then act like a 80 year old lady at other times haha. I love creating character lore, especially when it's tragic (I'm so evil-), and generally rping with either peaceful every-day life types, or the type of rp that puts a character at risk! I'm fairly active when it comes to RP, though I may take a while to reply to RP threads due to IRL life. I sometimes have hiatuses due to school events/trips, but those last 3 days at most, and I alert the people I’m rping with about it beforehand hehe. SUper busy with homework irl, but I totally don’t sneak onto Scratch to reply to threads while doing homework- I've been roleplaying on this site since April of 2024, too, but have been roleplaying offsite for a few years already. I'm in a couple of Scratch roleplays- those being Trust Issues, Broken Oaths, Birds of Prey, and TFCRP! In the process of creating my own rp rn muahaha! Also, I've never owned a TSS cat before, but I am getting interested in this rp and would love to join!

╰▹ why this kit? - Ok omg omg- first up, the litter lore. I personally love characters with internal conflict, and with the whole IceClan situation in the roleplay right now (what are you talking about I totally didn't comment stalk- /j) and man I am invested in it. It would be AMAZING to own a cat stuck in the middle of the conflict lmao, once I saw this litter my brain had to idea dump on me, causing me to make this application lol. But seriously, it is amazing rghh <3 Then you may ask, why Celestial? Well, they do have features of both FalconClan and IceClan cats, which I find is a window for a ton of potential lore, lol. I see the features as a sign that Celestial won't be truly, truly accepted as either an IceClan cat or a FalconClan cat- lots of room to work with lore <3 <3 Love their character design itself too- man the coloring and the lineart are AMAZING and I would love to make doodles of them while rping. Also totally not being biased here but shift crystal- I'm already thinking of ways to slot that into their lore <3 this will be a for-fun application IF I win Valkyrie or a bugcat slot from the TSS anniversary raffle, but if I don't, then this application will be serious :')

╰▹ why should I be chosen? - Well, I don't really have a reason why I should win them and not any other participants- everyone has their own reasons, and a lot of theirs may be better than mine. But first up, I /am/ a pretty consistent rper- I usually reply to threads in less than 2 days if I can. Additionally, I do try to make my replies more long and detailed, elaborating on what the cat I'm using is thinking and feeling about what's happening, along with all that dialogue. So- uh, yep, I'm willing to spend some of my time irl to make nice long detailed replies, hehe. Then, I am pretty skilled at turning my rp characters down small turns every roleplay, but those turns still contribute to the overall character, making it kind of blend into the character slowly but surely, instead of just mashing all the character development into the first few roleplays I do with the character (I used to do that when I started rping, sobb) Plus, Ceci is interesting to me- with a dynamic that I don't exactly roleplay with a lot, but I'm eager to try it out. Generally I love them sm and would treat them pretty well as my first TSS kitty if I get them

» more explanation on gender identity choice irp - Ceci doesn't really care about gender too much- to them, gender is more of a liability, an unneeded shroud that can be thrown to the side in favor of flexibility. As long as it's they know it's them who's being referred to, it's fine, really. Gender simply doesn't strike Ceci as something that's important. In their eyes, gender is just a label, one that pretty much binds one to it. Ceci would rather be free, being who they want to be at different times. They don't exactly have preferred genders at different times- rather, they'd just like other cats to call them by whatever gender the other cats see fit to call them as, instead. Works for them- no risk of cats getting their pronouns wrong and starting, like, a battle. They'd discover this late-apprenticeship, when they don't feel like the label female works for them anymore- it's started to feel surreal, drifting off into the depths of Ceci's views of themself.

» more explanation on sexual & romantic orientation choice irp - Ceci doesn't experience romantic attraction to cats. No matter what the cats do, no matter what Ceci tries to get themself to think- it never works. They desire love, desire a special bond with someone other than themselves- but no, it simply doesn't come that easily for them. In fact, it doesn't come for them at all. Ceci doesn't know why they don't feel that connection to anybody, but they've never came to accept it, lookin enviously at couples and wishing, always for that bond. They've begged StarClan themselves to feel that spark in them ignite so that they can at least be the slightest bit ‘normal’, but that doesn't work, duh. They sometimes try to claim that they feel the bond to somebody else like that- but it's all lies, lies to try make themselves fit in better in their own head. Though, they don't fake feelings for a cat in front of said cat directly like that- she's too dignified for that, and besides, through all her delusions, she knows that a fake relationship won't ever owk out for her. Though, a romantic relationship with someone is never their top priority, but they still desire it, no matter what. It's only for their own selfish desires- they just want to look normal, look like an average, normal FalconClan cat instead of some weird-looking hybrid. And she thinks that a romantic relationship is one of the things that can help her with that.

Ceci is a rather pleasant cat to be around. They act polite, have manners, all that- they're rather prim and proper. They treat each and every cat in the clan as one more superior than themself, letting them always speak first and boss them around. They also do act more- ladylike, somehow- they just carry themselves like a ‘delicate flower’ at times. Their friendliness is a mask and a tool to them, though- it isn't a quality that they naturally own, it's more like one that they developed over time for their own personal gain. The reason behind their friendliness is to lure cats into their web, pretty much- make them love them, adore them. It gives them a sense of reassurance- that even if it may be fake, even if Ceci may be the puppetmaster behind it all- that other cats do enjoy them as a cat, and not view them as an outsider, a traitor, an IceClan cat. Ceci also knows that the friendliness may pay off in the future- if cats like them, then they can ask cats to help them and support them in the future- then, no one objects, really, because they feel that they owe Ceci something for their ‘kindness’. Even though their friendliness is a ploy, they can't exactly stop being friendly- it's a mask to them already, one to hide the envy and desperation inside of them while they benefit out of it- so it's a habit by now, and Ceci would have to spend moons and moons just to remove that mask. Not worth it, they think.

╰▹ The tiny kit huddles deep inside of a cave opening, high up in the mountains. Not that they're unused to it- they are both Icecat and Falconcat, after all. Both height-adapted species. But, no, no, what they feared wasn't the steep heights, but the storm in the sky. The thunder ringing in their ears. The lightning reflecting off in their eyes. As a small, rather unremarkable kit, it was scary to them. Curling up tightly, they dreamed. Dreamed again . Dreamed of the warmth of their parent, curled around them protectively. And their siblings with them too. Ah- that was paradise to them. That, for one, would be one of the few things better than eating yet another bunch of elderberries. And the kit admittedly liked the taste of that fruit. Fruit, family- ah. It sounded all so good to the little kit in the cave, making their stomach rumble and making another shiver pass through their body. The rock surface they were on was wet- cold too. Not much better than wet grass, honestly.
