With Github the link to the website will either be USERNAME.github.io or USERNAME.github.io/REPOSITORY whereas in Netlfiy you can just use something.netlify.app, in netlify you can link a git repo and if you change something in the repo the website will update in 30 secs whereas it takes like up to 10 mins in Github. There is not much difference.Why? That's because it's not supposed to be characters - view it as binary. I can't seem to define it further
