Introduction
What is this forum?
The Bugs and Glitches forum is a place for Scratchers to report bugs and glitches occurring on the Scratch website and project editor.
How do I report a bug here?
To report a bug, go to the Bugs and Glitches forum and click the purple New Topic button. Then, write a good explanation of your bug.
Make sure to check the List of Bugs to look and see if anyone else has reported your bug before you post your topic.
Do not post bug reports on this guide!
Can I post here if my project has a bug?
No. Please post in Help with Scripts instead.

Creating a Topic

Should I Create a Topic?
If a topic already exists, especially if it is stickied, you should not create a topic. Instead, use the existing topic to discuss the issue.
Some people create topics here just to create topics, or spam. That isn't cool. Only create a topic in this forum if you legitimately have a bug.
Do not create “bug reporting hubs”. Bug reporting hubs are generic bug reporting topics that ask people to post on the topic instead of a new topic. These de-organise the forums, and will be closed. If you find a bug reporting hub, do not post bug reports there.
Subject
Your subject should explain the bug in about 3 or 5 words. Don't go into too much detail as that will unnecessarily lengthen the subject.

? Please fix the bug where if you search for anything like “scratch”, it does not load.

Message
The message is the first post of a topic - what people see when they view the topic. The message should describe in detail the bug, while keeping a polite tone. Here are some examples of what a Scratcher would write in a message.

Hi. I have noticed that when I search any query up, such as “scratch”, the search function does not work, and no image pops up. If there is a workaround, please tell me. Thanks!

I would appreciate of @cheddargirl, and other people, would stop calling it ‘spam’ or anything. Also stop giving warnings. Mostly because if your not working for Scratch, stop acting like you are. Its not *air quote, air quote* ‘spam’. Its simply truth's, fact's, and truthful opinion's. If you have a problem with that, don't give useless warnings that won't help nor solve the problem. Simply ask kindly for them to stop. If they don't stop after repeatedly asking nicely, THEN, giving a warning or closing the discussion is ACTUALLY, I REPEAT, ACTUALLY, Necessary.

Spam is to send the same message over and over again. It is very much spam to create topics about the search bar even though there is a sticky saying to use the designated topic to discuss search.

It may be truthful fact, but sending it over and over again will not help, and will bury things that will help the ST fix the problem. It is counter-productive to say the same thing over and over again. Many people have been asking people to stop nicely, but people have not stopped.
