〚 i n t r o d u c t i o n 〛

Interviewerinquiry was on the hunt once again. Fae was in the frigid mountains, brought up there by a generous Falconcat who took pity on the traveling cat. It ducked into a small cavern as a blizzard started, causing a flurry of white snow that was impossible to see through. Her snow-white pelt would be unable to see through the thick snowstorm, leading to no possibility of rescue if she began to fall to exhaustion or frostbite. The cat rested on the floor, but the snow was still falling after quite the long sleep. Interviewer shivered, faer normal pelt not adapted to the thick mountain snow and frigid landscape. When it heard the pacing of paws outside, it thought that it was imagining things based off of its desires. She didn’t expect for a white-pelted cat to dive in and curl up around the cat. Fae began to back away. “Oh! You’re alive! Thank goodness,” The cat chirped out. It stared at the cat. Their pelt was white with gray splotches that slowly began darker as they faded farther up their pelt. Tufts of almost cosmic-looking feathers covered their eyes and sprung out where a tail would be on a usual cat. Small wings sprouted from their back, contrasting with their dark paws. “Who are you?” Interviewerinquiry chirped. “Celestialpaw,” They murmured simply. Fae introduced herself and chatted with Celestialkit, learning quite a lot.




Interviewerinquiry - she/it/fae

A snow-white she-cat with transfixing blue eyes like tanzanite. With a small “book” of leaves and spider thread, fae adventure across the entire island of The Silver Shores looking for the opinions of cats— particularly those of kits. It adores discovering and sleuthing, having been venturing outside her birthplace of the Barren Lands since it could walk. Nothing will stop her as she discovers things about all of the clans; It is her desire to eventually learn about those more elusive cats such as IceClan and Venomclan.

➵ who I want - the wonderful celestialkit



➵ why I want - well, to start, her design is so adorable. The white pelt mixed with the starry accents and black paws… mwah. The family dynamic is also incredibly interesting. With an absent father from the incredibly interesting IceClan and a Falconclan mother, this poses a wonderful source of drama for the kits. I imagine her relationship with Solsticekit especially would be interesting due to the ability of them to fly. I also think that many cats in the clan would judge her, causing drama for the poor tiny bean.



➵ why i should win - I have a highly flexible roleplay style. From long, lengthy replies to build suspense for SRPs to short, snappy replies for drama-filled fight scenes, I can do it all. This makes it possible for me to give Celestialkit the interesting and wonderful life that she so rightfully deserves. In addition, I will make sure to be very active if I win the kit. Dedication is something I have struggled with in the past, but I am ready to settle down and give one of these wonderful kits the life they all deserve.



➵ probability of harm - unlikely. She might get in a few scuffles trying to defend her kin and herself, but other than that, I don’t imagine it’s likely that she will meet her demise in the heat of combat.



➵ longevity - obviously, at least until she’s 25 moons as stated in the rules. I’ll keep her alive for at least a year {until 50 moons}, possibly more. I might fall out of activity a bit in the summer, but I’ll come back in the fall and still try to be active at least twice a week in the summer.



➵ future plans - she’ll probably get into some emotional conflict, both external and internal. Might have fae adopt some kits— when it comes to name themes, they could be related to atmospheric terms {zephyr, nimbus, monsoon, tempest, etc.}, terms related to snow and ice {blizzard, frigid, glacial, flurry, etc}, or rarely used yet transfixing terms for emotions/concepts {serenity, euphoria, inspiration, awe, etc.}. I imagine it would make a few friends and maybe even a few adversaries.

➵ Positive Traits {Detailed} - in all of her endeavors, she waits for when everything is ready and does not move with overwhelming haste. It is quite humble and does not overplay its accomplishments. Rather, fae would prefer for others to take the spotlight rather than fae. She doesn’t thrive in the public eye and prefers to stay quiet. It is dedicated to making sure its friends feel happy by reading their social cues and emotions and responding accordingly. This sense of social awareness aids her in responding properly to different situations. To add, the she-cat finds that fae likes to behave in a manner worthy of respect of others. However, due to her origins, some cats are not inclined to give her that respect. It still tries its best to fit in, though.



➵ Neutral Traits {Detailed} - She finds herself being very particular about details and dissecting things very carefully. Every single detail is important to it. Fae also does not reveal much information about herself to cats fae doesn’t know. If she opens up, you have gained her trust. It also watches things very carefully, looking at particular details closely. While this makes fae’s work detailed and somewhat perfect, fae also doesn’t know how to leave things behind at time. Her routine also work based on a map of procedures, and diverging from the norm throws her off and could possibly cause her to be irritable.

➵ Negative Traits {Detailed} - She is not brave— in fact, she is quite the opposite. Anything that diverges from the normal scares it. Rather than being in the spotlight, fae can be seen watching from the shadows, for faer heart begins to leap when in an environment fae does not consider familiar. She sees the glass as half-empty, often seeing the worst in things that are happening/will happen. This adds to the cowardice, leading her to not be a valiant fighter. In addition, fae does not like socializing with others and is quite solitary, often refusing help. Sometimes, its reactions seem strained or artificial when interacting with those it doesn’t know well. The cat also does not take many risks.

When talking about her father, she often is avoidant and often tries to dodge questions. Fae feels ashamed, almost, about faer origins. It knows that its father’s faults are not its fault, but it sometimes feel like the prejudiced view of many cats against IceClan causes it to be a social outcast of sorts. As she ages, she eventually learns that the things that transpired are not her fault and no longer holds the guilt. Overall, fae does not like faer father and disagrees with his actions.

➵ leapingfox - mother - “ great mother. Really helped fill the hole from not having a strong male figure. “

Overall, she thinks they’re a good mother. It doesn’t see her as the best mother, but it appreciates the efforts. Fae understands how hard it must be to try and raise the odd collection of kits without another parent to aid her. She tries to stay out of trouble and overall stay out of the way of her mother, beginning to try to stand on her own feet and trying to not be as dependent on anyone.



➵ solsticekit - bio sibling - “ (those wings… wish I had those. Maybe I’d fit in…) Oh. Fine enough, I guess. “

Deep down, it has deep-seated resentment for its only flying sibling. Fae hide this on the outside, disguising this with a smile and a cheery voice. She knows that she shouldn’t be so adversarial towards her own kin, but she can’t help but feel a certain touch of envy when thinking about those magificent wings that the other cat bears.



➵ snowkit - bio sibling - “ She can relate to my struggles. I have a much better relationship with her than Sol. “

With the cat also having IceClan features, fae feels that they can relate to each other’s struggles and “being an outcast in their clan.” The relationship with Snowkit will most likely be more positive than negative, unlike the one with Solsticekit. She tries not to show her favoritism when it comes to her siblings, but she often fails miserably— leading to her believing she has hurt another cat’s feelings, one way or another.



➵ falconclan / iceclan war - conflict - “ Why do you keep asking me about this? I just want to stay out of the way. “

She does not like talking about this very much. With its father and the controversy, it will not lean toward either side. Fae will stay as far away from the topic as possible, often avoiding discussing it when possible. When she must discuss it, Celestial will be dodgy and purposefully brief, especially with strangers. To close friends, it will reveal how it feels divided in choosing between its mother and father. Toward the end, however, fae will choose that fae wants to fight for Falconclan, therefore establishing faer loyalty in a place despite not quite feeling welcome there.

Fae doesn’t interact with them much. Therefore, it does not have a strong opinion. She thinks they’re “decent enough.”

She doesn’t interact with them much, but finds them quite frightening due to the fire and their fangs.



➵ seaclan - other clan - “ poor underdogs. Don’t mind them much, though.”

It looks down on them with pity, as they’re always being pushed around. Overall, she has the most positive relationship with these cats, in her mind.

Celestial’s paws thudded against the stone as she leapt across the foothills, looking out at the border. It stared out at the forests just beyond the territory of the clan that it called home— where it belonged, even though it didn’t seem like it sometimes. The light of dusk danced in the distance as the light of the sun faded beyond the horizon. It painted such a wonderful image for fae, as if this was a majestic sight that faer eyes could barely fathom the beauty of. The scene filled it with an odd sense of adventure and… longing? What was out there for her? Fae didn’t belong anywhere but FalconClan; Fae would not be accepted anywhere else, especially considering the not-so-positive view that IceClan had— or, more accurately, still has. Yet, it couldn’t help but wonder: What lies beyond the Vanishing Peaks, and what secrets do the other clans hold? After staring into the distance for a long while, she sighed and shook her head. Fae knew that the feeling was futile and would never be fulfilled. Its thirst for adventure was stomped into the ground of its fear of never seeing anyone it cares about again and, worst case scenario, going to Starclan. Sealing up those emotions in a bottle, she stashed it away in the corners of her heart and padded away from the scene, never planning on acting on these reckless and dangerous fantasies.

➵ what it is - the inability to bear children. Both males and females can have the condition. It can result from a variety of causes. Animals and humans with infertility can not bear biological young or have difficulty doing so {in Celestial’s case, fae can not bear a kit/kits at all to prevent 3-way hybrids}.



➵ causes + effects - there is a variety of reasons why a cat could have infertility— hormonal imbalances and environmental factors being some of them— but the cause of infertility in Celestial and her siblings is them being hybrids. This is also true with many real-life animals, such as the mule and male ligers. This will cause her to not be able to bear biological kits. Of course, it can adopt kits, if it wishes, but it will never have biological kits.
