With the help of Google and trying to not cry seeing opcode because it reminded me about the robotics team I had to quit….

I have an idea! How about we make an extension that contains blocks from my project Scratch Baby? Something like this:

move right::motion
move left::motion
move up::motion
move down::motion

show
hide

wait::control
repeat::control
…
end

When green flag clicked
When this sprite clicked

Repeat forever::cap

These blocks could behave the same way as in Scratch Baby

This is my understanding, although I've never used it because I don't have a domain. But I believe, even if you self-host, cloudflare can protect you. But then you'll also need to figure out how to scale and provide enough storage for all the projects.

Once again not an ad but lots of websites use it and I've used cloudflare workers before.
Here's another thought: If you want a cheaper domain, get one with a more obscure name for the backend, and host the front end off GitHub pages/js.org.
