I saw someone try saying Shadamy is a bad ship cuz “Shadow sees Amy as Maria aka his Sister!!!” Which like…no…I don’t even like Shadamy but making up some fake moral statement to justify disliking a ship is bizarre…if you don’t like a ship then you don’t like it, there’s no reason to imply anything nasty that’s not there

It’s a game series, there have been stuff like comics & shows produced but that’s just supplementary material

Okay hot take but I think both Taiream & Chaream are extremely stupid, boring nothing burger ships. I feel like they’re only shipped cuz they’re the kid characters & that’s it. Cream barely interacts with Tails or Charmy so I feel like people just really only like the idea of those ships. I mean sure Cream & Tails are kind of parallels in terms of being the cutesy flying kid sidekicks to their respective hedgehog best friend but that’s really it. I also think Taiream is kinda creepy cuz sure their close in age but Tails is literally a genius with IQ 300 meanwhile Cream literally acts just like a real child so it feels like a weird maturity gap & power imbalance to me.
