Why is there a rule to call JSR Jet Grind Radio? They don't even use that name in America now, it's the name of another port version thing on GBA, and it's incredibly strange.

Why is there a rule to call JSR Jet Grind Radio? They don't even use that name in America now, it's the name of another port version thing on GBA, and it's incredibly strange.I think it’s stupid to have to refer to everything as the American term, as there are more people outside of the Americas

While it was a failure in the west, the Saturn was surprisingly successful in Japan. It sold 5.75 million units there, much more than anywhere else. It was still a failure overall.

Plus, it's not all that confusing as long as you inform people about these names. Outside of American terms, I get if you're saying to refer to Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine as Puyo Puyo, as that is a more confusing example of a name change, and Puyo Puyo is the original name for the game.Why is there a rule to call JSR Jet Grind Radio?
