I wouldn't waste time using the support/no support convention, Scratch Team doesn't add suggestions by support's they add them by how well it will fit with scratch.

Well, either it works and is the one that should be used, or it doesn't work and there should be an official one! I don't know about DjangoBB, but all other forum engines I've used can be configured to allow searching of posts. I'd be surprised if DjangoBB can't?

Oh well, looks like a hot topic… my personal solution is to use something like "mysearchterm site:https://scratch-mit-edu.ezproxyberklee.flo.org/discuss/" in a browser.

DjangoBB certainly can- and the forums used to have a search feature (https://scratch-mit-edu.ezproxyberklee.flo.org/discuss/search/ ) which is actually still used for searching for things like all of your posts and unanswered posts. For some reason they removed it.

Only works on one page per forum (and then you have to click to the next page), and you can't search more than one forum at once.

Highly inefficient when you're searching for one topic in a forum with thousands of pages.
