yeah, but it's not like it's something to brag about. They're obviously not looking in here, but part of the Yuzu shutdown was that the devs had bragged about game piracy before. Obviously, it's not going to harm Nintendo, but people need to learn these companies will use anything as legal ammunition. Proclaiming it isn't a good habit to get intoIt's not like the moment you say it then the feds have already scanned through all your hard drives and is now tracking your location. now if they did do that everyone would shut up about iti really don't understand why everyone's so vocal about hshop. If you pirate, keep it to yourself, despite being morally okay for 3DS games it's not some heroic feat. You're supposed to keep it to yourself, because it's illegalno one said something about hshop thoHey, guys! I don't have a modded 3DS, just letting you know.if you have your 3DS modded you can just download an mp4 player (that's what i did)How do I put videos I downloaded on mine? I'm sure you have to use an online converter to put videos on them, so can someone tell me the specs, codec, etc.?Has anyone else put a whole bunch of music on their 3DS like I didi put music and videos on mine
The visualizers in 3DS Sound are really fun to watch too.
I know my videos can't exceed more than ten minutes.
Can't you just drag it into the sd card like music?

But you can watch videos on the 3DS as vanilla, with the only downside of it being that the 3DS only supports the .avi codec, so you're going to have to convert any videos with a different codec into a video with an .avi codec.I have to scale them down in resolution too, right?
Also I put some AVI files onto my 3DS SD card (in the DCIM folder) but they won't show up when I go to 3DS Camera, even after I scaled them down to 640x480. so can someone tell me exactly what to do before I get lost?

It technically is, but the reduction of pirating of offsale media (that is no longer able to benefit its creators through legitimate sales) is nowhere near the priority list of authoritative organizations.--snip--i really don't understand why everyone's so vocal about hshop. If you pirate, keep it to yourself, despite being morally okay for 3DS games it's not some heroic feat. You're supposed to keep it to yourself, because it's illegal
I agree, though, that if you do something ethically or morally correct, (which doesn't harm anybody) you should avoid speaking about it if it is illegal.
Also, here's some food for thought:
- If you already own a game, is it okay to pirate a copy for another system/device? Is it still fine for the same system?
- What about if you lost your hard copy? Or if the disc/cartridge/card is damaged/unreadable? Can you download it?
- What about if it's a soft copy that is no longer available on the official virtual stores?
