Alright, welcome Lora and Sooeun! I’m so excited to have you both on the team, and I am more than happy to be working with you guys <3

This post will be used to keep track of our to-do list and any ideas we come up with, so feel free to use it as a point of reference if needed!

To-Do List:

Title/Cabin Name: (By this I mean the studio name for our cabin. Ex: PROJECT DOOMSDAY ₪ Apocalyptic SWC Nov ‘24 )

Storyline:
- Basic premise: A privately-funded secret group, separate from the government, which “enters” the Internet in order to protect it from viruses and cybersecurity threats that could destabilize all of society. The group uses all sorts of tech and weapons to fight off the viruses.

(Also I was wondering if we could somehow incorporate HSR (honkai star rail) into this? Like, an HSR-themed sci-fi cabin with this storyline :0 If that’s okay with everyone else of course!)

Color Scheme:

Theme: Futuristic, cyberpunk, setting is a high-tech city with flashy billboards, teleportation, and things like that. The Internet is the foundation of this city, and all of society.

Activities:

- Cabin currency/point system (?)

- Cabin bonding

- Other ideas!

Cabin Relationships:

- Allies

- Enemies

- Special Relationships

Cabin:

- Thumbnail

- Description

- Cabin Atmosphere + Cabin Symbol (this needs to be done before January 26th!)

Storyline:
Everything looks great so far- I'm assuming we should start from the base storyline, and build upon from there? We do need to get symbols and cabin atmosphere blurbs in soon.

(HSR CABIN. HSR CABIN MENTIONED. I'd love to! Of course, if Lora's fine with that as well. If we're going with the whole ‘tech and weapons’ thing, it could definitely work out :D.)

Color Scheme/Aesthetics:
Do we all have access to Canva? It might be easier to build palettes from there, since collaborating on thumbnails and all that would be easier that way as well. If not, we could always just go with the Google color picker :P
And I'm completely fine with a Luka cabin trailer ;0

Activities:

Yep! We just need to flesh it out a bit Coming up with the symbol and blurb should be pretty easy, for the blurb, we'll combine what each of us put in our leader apps (that's how i usually do it)

I plan to make it like a weekly activity thing? It won't be too storyline intensive. A balance between cabin activities and personal writing <3

So I would say each week there would be a different event that happens in the storyline, accompanied by a certain task/activity the campers would need to do?

see, i'd be fine with that but i honestly have no idea?? what HSR is?? so if you guys would explain like the basis or something so i could help out then that would be completely great!

also, everything else sounds brilliant on the weekly storyline activity things! it could be like apocalyptic last session, with different phases that flesh out every week. (phase 1, phase 2, and so on)

ALSO LUKA CABIN TRAILOR <3 i'm sure it will promote a lot of people to join sci-fi bwahaha. luka's animating skills are actually incredible

Admittedly, I have not touched the game in… Months, to say the least :'D Luka, you might want to fill us in (and on how you want to incorporate it :))

My take on it would be incorporating HSR's combat concepts on the topic of fighting off the viruses, and possibly go along the Paths as well (Basically beliefs and values, how you see the world etc. There's the Paths of Destruction, Harmony, Preservation, and like a few more I can't name at the moment lol.) We could possibly engrave some of that into how we interact with the storyline ourselves and assign each of us a Path, or something of similar concept but renamed. If we do go with that, it could bring up the possibility of WCGs, but of course these are all just suggestions.

Also, would we be doing roles, like Apocalyptic from last session?

No problem! Honestly you don't need to know the whole lore of it or the characters hehe, it's basically a sci-fi RPG that takes place in space and as the MC and a few others traveling to a bunch of different planets.

I'll admit I had no idea how to incorporate it until you mentioned the Paths :0 I think that would be an great idea!

(for lora: in HSR, Paths are basically the values someone chooses to follow and it serves as a combat type for a person - the people that use Paths are called Pathstriders. So in simplest terms, think of a Path as the role you have in combat)

The Paths right now are Destruction, Erudition, Remembrance, Abundance, The Hunt, Preservation, Nihility and Harmony. We only need to use 3 of them (one for each of us) so you guys can pick what you'd like

We'll probably use these for wcgs too!

And since everyone is able to use Canva, I'll make one now and share the link <3

i'd love to be the hunt, then! i googled it up and it just sounds cool haha <3 also got it, opening the canva. for the cabin symbols, the last one looks really cool! i like the third one as well, but it looks too much like a filled checkbox, haha

edit: also, for cabin title names, i'm not sure but operation firewall could be a suggestion? this is just off the top of my head though, anything works – we could brainstorm on this later

Maybe something along the lines of ‘Operation: Firewall’ or similar, to tie in the Honkai: Star Rail reference? xD I have no clue if this works at all either-

OKAY I WAS THINKING ABOUT IT and what if we used the name “Hyperwave”? or maybe “Neo Genesis”? or we could go with “Operation Firewall” or just “Firewall”, what do you guys think? we should get this out of the way quickly so we can start setting up the cabin <3

also since cabin atmospheres are due on the 26th, we should get on that as well. I went to everyone’s app answers and pulled what we each wrote for the atmosphere question:

Luka - A welcoming cabin that puts an emphasis on community, fun, and positivity, engaging in friendly competition and interactive activities that result in wonderful memories <3

Sooeun - A storyline-intensive cabin complete with engaging puzzles and activities, fostering just the proper balance of competitive spirit, in-cabin bonding, and of course… chaos

Lora - Friendly, warm atmosphere with a slightly competitive edge. Campers can collaborate with one another and feel at home while working towards the cabin storyline.

Hmm. We could possibly have ‘Operation Firewall’ as the cabin name (With or without ‘:’, what do you guys think?) as the cabin name, and then either ‘Firewall’ or ‘Hyperwave’ as the name of the group? ‘Neo Genesis’ could potentially be used as a name for the main setting, I feel it gives that kind of vibe. Should we start a vote on this?

Took a read at all of our blurbs, we all mention having interactive storyline/activities and a side of friendly competition so maybe go from there? We could also insert a bit of an introduction to the storyline, though I'm assuming we do have to get that worked out first.

operation: firewall sounds cool, and hyperwave could be the name of the group! although i have a question sobbing, what's ‘neo genesis’?? does it have a particular meaning or what–

also, seconding sooeun, all of our cabin atmospheres include an interactive storyline and friendly competition, so we could attune this to our specific cabin plot for the overall atmosphere! like, instead of just /stating/ it has an interactive storyline, say what it's for, (e.g.: to fight the main virus or something but make it sound better, haha) to try and attract campers

so how about Operation: Firewall is our cabin name, Hyperwave is the name of the group, and Neo Genesis is the name of the city/setting? (also I got that name from a generator alsjdkj)

as for our blurb, here's what I came up with:

The fate of the Internet is at stake! In Sci-Fi, you'll fight off viruses in the virtual world, meet fellow Pathstriders, and enjoy friendly competition. So, are you ready to join Operation: Firewall? (200 characters)

Sounds great to me :DD

I like the sound of the blurb! Though, I do feel like we could rephrase the last line a bit to make it more… ‘attention-grabbing’? (I don't know how to phrase this :'D) I can try coming up with something on that while I'm off.

Also, on the topic of Paths, I think I'd like to be Erudition then, so then Destruction could belong to the opposing force (the viruses) instead. ;D So then, I'd assume Paths would look something like this:

Luka - Nihility
Lora - Hunt
Sooeun - Erudition

Opposing Force (Name for this?) - Destruction
