Plot Stuff:
As you guys know, I already have a pretty fleshed-out idea for the cabin, however I have purposely left grey areas, unfinished parts, and things that need improvement so we can tackle it as a team! I'm going to list out all of my ideas here–this is just my initial braindump, feel free to suggest anything since it's all subject to change First, here's my general overview:
Campers are all spider-people, and so are we!
After a failed experiment by Dr. Skyler (which is me, I went by skyler at one point ;D) collides the SWCVerse, heroes are set loose on the SWCity–and their villains as well. In the process, the Collider got damaged and some of the villains made off with key pieces the campers need to get back, as well as stopping the villains from destroying the SWCity!
There are two classes of villains: Minor and Major.
Minor villains are a camper's personal bad guys–at the beginning of the session they can design them and each week they set a writing goal and an irl goal, preferably self-care related. To defeat their villain, they must complete at least 5 of their 8 goals!
Major villains are significantly more powerful and it takes the whole cabin working together to vanquish these 4-6 villains (depending on how quickly the campers are able to defeat them). These guys also have a component of the collider.
At the end of the month, fixing the collider is the final activity to send campers home!

Second, here are things I think would be fun or like to incorporate:
Firstly, my being Dr. Skyler is a sort of predictable plot twist. Another twist I'd LOVE to include would be one of you guys is one of the major villains!
Secondly, since this is Illu-Fi, I'm hoping to be able to have a comic we release throughout the month, detailing the camper's adventures! It could feature the spidersonas they design for their pfps and would be like an intro and follow them as they defeat villains and stuff
Some other art I think would be cool is a project with the minor villains they design drawn out for them ✨
I might have had another idea but I'd forgotten it oops



General Stuff:
I'm planning to spend the first week sketching out a general plan for the entire session, and we can focus on the smaller details throughout february. Please give me any and all ideas you have! I'd love to hear them <3

if the campers are doing storyline activities fast, there could even be a twist towards the end of camp where the one of us thats the major villain steals the collider pieces just as the campers have finished gathering them! and they have to do one more (end-of-session fun) challenge to get them back—thoughts? we could destruct the desc and have a lot of chaotic fun with this, potentially
and i love the comic idea oh my god!! i'd love to help work on that <33

hey yall i know its probably too early for this but i was brainstorming about what major villains we could have while i was eating lunch! so i just wanted to say these ideas before i forgot them, and we can come back to them later

• Spider Pirate Villain
  

A spidercharacter that has turned evil, perhaps because of a tragic backstory! Or perhaps they're just a mercenary that's been hired by another one of the major villains to make life harder for campers…
And a pirate would be so cool :pleading: Their evil plan could possibly be something along the lines of creating a tsunami to drown the SWCity? The spider-pirate villain can use their spider powers to climb up the pirate ships sails, and the pirate ship could even have spider legs instead of oars that give it super speed!!! Campers could potentially play a game of battleships to defeat this villain!

• Arson Mango Villain
  

we NEED an arson / explosions villain yall! Perhaps this one can be the one of us that is secretly evil, or the final boss villain?? It could potentially be building a bomb out of rotten / toxic / radioactive mangoes with a plot to explode the SWCity, and therefore destroy all chances of campers fixing the collider????

This is just a quick brainstorm / idea dump (because my brain wouldn't shut up anjfkskf), but let me know what yall think!

I love this! Maybe there can be two types of villains - one can be self-care type and the other can be a writing goal type, and the goals could be more intense. Or the villain could come back?

I think definitely one villain per camper is fs enough since that's at least 17, maybe even 20 to deal with (assuming all our campers are active. unlikely but in the rare event they all design a villain–I'm thinking they're like monthlong villains that basically just serve the purpose of getting campers to set and reach goals if that makes sense the complicated villains will be the big bosses… speaking of which, since there will be up to six (maybe 5? We'll see) I think we could each suggest at least one and work together to get the fine details planned out!

oh and as for what Ave said:

it would be a little predictable for one of us to be the arson guy (especially the literal phoenix of our team ;D) but that could also be so much fun, so up to you!!

Oh and don't worry about not being the mysterious scientist or the supervillain–I'm thinking one of us is actually good (because imagine the campers decide not to trust us and start a rebellion loll) and we can think of another cool thing to be <3333

one more thing, how are we thinking the wcgs are going to work? I’ve never co-led with four people but I’ve seen two wcgs before, and if we do that, how it shakes out could effect our roles (vice versa actually) <3

I’m wondering if we could maybe have the minor villains start off weaker but gradually gain strength as the session goes on (make you complete more goals for the week?) and they can come back at the end? or are they staying? :confused:

one more thing, how are we thinking the wcgs are going to work? I’ve never co-led with four people but I’ve seen two wcgs before, and if we do that, how it shakes out could effect our roles (vice versa actually) <3

yeah we can ask campers to increase their goals if they can! basically minor villains are we ask campers to set goals to achieve but we have the minors to tie it to the plot if that makes sense lol and it takes slowly chipping away at them all month to stop them (please tell me if theis doesn't make sense sklfjfdjskl sometimes I can get ahead of myself)
