Request a section in the wiki that covers what the lore of Scratch (Example mascots in training). to encourage the discovery and creation of more lore.
scratch does not have lore, other than scratch cat is non-binary
there is a lot of lore in Scratch.
just to name a few:

deleted sprites go to MIT which in their world is called Mascots In Training.

There are multiple places named in the series “Scratch Mystery” made by people hired by the Scratch team. Scratch country, NFE land, and Banland. not verry creative names but someone out there might use these for their stories.

Kaj was became a running joke even by the moderation team. Making her turn a new leaf as Kaj the moderator.

And that's not even counting Super Scratch Programing Adventure which talks about cyberspace, the cosmic defenders, and the “secret manual”.

There is a lot of official approaches you can do for Scratch lore (some of them contradicting each other) it's just hard to find.
The Scratch Wiki only documents real-life events and phenomena relating to the main Scratch program and website. All of your statements about lore have not been confirmed by the Scratch Team (unless you're willing to provide a source), and thusly, are not documented on the wiki; if we were to allow unofficial “lore” onto the wiki, things would quickly spiral out of control as anyone can just put up some random statement without the need for any backing. The Super Scratch Programing Adventure lore would also not qualify as something that can be added to the wiki, because it is not connected to the Scratch Team in any capacity and is thus unofficial. It would be like me making up a story about a love tale between Gobo and Nano and post it online; it would have no basis against any official statements the Scratch Team has made.
I understand. Thank you for hearing me out. How can I find people to research more on Scratch “lore” for my projects? Is there anywhere else that is documenting the same things that I am?
You're welcome to ask in other parts of the Discussion Forum such as Things I'm Making and Creating; I'm sure there will be others interested in “Scratch lore”.

Types of posts that don't go here

Anything not directly related to the Wiki does not go on this topic. Please post them in their own topics.
  • Questions about Scratch - please make a topic of your own in this forum, instead of posting here
  • Asking for help with a project - please make a topic in the Help with Scripts subforum
  • Suggestions for blocks to be added - please post in Suggestions
  • Account troubles (e.g. bans) - please use Contact Us instead of posting anywhere
  • Tests of the block plugin or blockspam - please use the dedicated topic

Types of posts that aren't cool

Anything that doesn't follow Community Guidelines is not okay for here, including:
  • Disrespectful posts
  • Posts with inappropriate content
  • Spam or advertisements - keep that in the Show and Tell forum
  • Destructive criticism (e.g. “the Wiki is stupid!” or “my account request was rejected! you're the worst people in the world”)

it's definitely not a “heaven”; tons of posts on this forum get deleted for spam
the reason so many people spam is because it's the first link on the Questions about Scratch forum, and people can't quite seem to figure out you're supposed to press the “New Topic” button to start a new topic

solution: convert it to an ITopic

LIST-BASED Grid Movement:

I noticed that there is a lot of pages mentioning “Grid,” or: “Lists”
But I never found a single List-Based Movement System!

Why is this? Lists are used all the time around Scratch, and I believe it needs to go into WAY more detail on every single page related to this topic.

The Concept of Recursion

This would be helpful in a lot of things, especially lists. It would also easily introduce newer Scratchers to more complex topics, without them getting intimidated. It is easy enough to program, but very powerful, and a bit difficult to wrap your head around, but not too bad with some practice implementing this into projects!

It seems to be working for me. It was probably a transient problem.

$30/hour for 40 hours/week and 50 weeks/year is $60,000 per year. We unfortunately don't have that kind of money lying around.

Good developers are expensive. Source: I'm a good developer (yes I may be a little biased here) and I get paid more than $2/hour.

That's well below United States federal minimum wage (which is 7.50/hour, it's higher in many states).

Besides, don't we already have @jvvg…? I mean, they're not necessarily being paid for it, but they're a good dev.

Has it been in any version of Scratch? Because if it has, I'd be more than happy to add it to the List of Obsolete Blocks article.

It's a hacked block.
