make a scratch editor dark theme
I doubt they are working on dark mode right now. Most scratch team members are taking a Christmas break. But hopefully they would add dark mode soon. With the scratch team being more active on making more tutorial projects earlier. I wonder if that activity would soon go to making a dark mode option…

Hey everyone! I heard there’s a good chance Scratch 4.0 will have a dark theme. If you’re interested in getting a glimpse of what a dark theme might look like in Scratch 3.0 or 4.0, there are some unofficial tools and mods out there that can give you an idea. Just make sure to follow Scratch's community guidelines when exploring these options!

my eyes burn when I change between turbo warp and scratch Support. It would be useful at night.

You can have dark mode turn on and off with sunrise/sunset in chromeOS, Android and (maybe) macOS/iOS by default natively, and Windows with a third-party app. Thus, it wouldn't make sense to have such option in Scratch itself. That would be an interesting option! Of course, we'd have to have something that'd either sync up with your computer's time or something that'd let you select time zones, and this should be optional too. Support! This would be nice to have, even just for appearance's sake. Maybe the brightness could adjust itself according to the current time of where you are; so if it's like 4AM (still dark), the editor would be dark but slowly brighten as time goes on and the sun rises…
I suppose this ties in with the “twilight” mode I suggested, which'd only make it partially dark.
Also, why not apply this to the whole website? Just doing it for the editor wouldn't make sense, and I can already see the sticky if it was just for the editor.

Absolutely support, dark mode can help your eyes when Scratching in a dark room since all that white light can singe your eyes long enough or if you weren't exposed to much light such as checking your computer after waking up

The colors were changed, and it wasn't really dark mode. Why was the dark mode removed?
