So, like whenever you see a signature, lets say they say this:
hello! with a bold font, you might be wondering how to do that, so maybe have a button that makes the post only regular texts? I know you can just quote it with posts but you cant with signatures.

Support for signatures, no support for posts. I'd love to see people's signatures in BBCode. That being said, this does allow for signature copying.

Having an understanding of BBcode may not be enough to figure out how someone’s signature was made sometimes.

It's already implemented for posts- albeit in a kind of hidden way. Adding “source” to the end of a post URL (scratch.mit.edu/discuss/post/POST ID HERE syntax) will show you the raw BBCode for that post.

So, for example, for this post: https://scratch-mit-edu.ezproxyberklee.flo.org/discuss/post/8318997/source (although there's no BBCode in this post other than the quote, so it's kind of a boring example, but still).

However, this is not true of signatures(?).

Support. I think this will be a good way to see the BBCode for signatures and to see how people made their signature.
