Shortcut Keys for Quickly Performing Options in Scratch
How about using Alt instead because Alt isn't commonly used in computer hotkeys or shortcuts.Maybe a different key instead of control. Also, I don’t think their are any control combinations that would cause something bad (besides control P, which is actually print, not paste.) No support because Ctrl is used for other things that are part of the computer and you might have someone ending up accidentally shutting down their computer or other stuff.

I'd rather stick with what we've already got for shortcut keys rather than adding even more shortcut keys.

Sorry for off-topic, but why do people keep posting on topics that are, like, 7 years old or something?

We should use Alt with alphanumeric keys as they aren't used by the system.

Yeah, Ctrl + S would be great for auto-saving, and also Ctrl+D to duplicate, Ctrl+E or Ctrl+I for Exporting/Importing, and Ctrl+Alt+D to download

Yes, though how many people are printing the Scratch editor?Would it override print? ctrl-p open paint editor
Although cmd-r should be changed - that already reloads the page, and cmd-s already has a function in Scratch: it saves the project.
