that is because Kaj is smashing the scratch sky and after the first scene Kaj goes extremely fast and creates deletion trench and the ban lands are at the bottom of deletion trench

In the banlands, Kaj thinks of ideas to trap one of the members of the Scratch gang. From afar, this happens:

FROM AFAR
SCRATCH CAT: We’ll place a spike and use a GO TO [SPIKE] block to defeat Kaj!
GOBO: Great idea! But where are we going to get the spike?
SCRATCH CAT: I’ll make one in the Editor Lab!

KAJ: That’s it! I have a cabinet of a lot of blocks, and that has the GO TO [] block! I’ll go get it!
Kaj dives into his cabinet and looks for that block.
KAJ: Aha! Kaj holds up the block in the air.
Kaj taps the block’s menu and selects “Kaj”. He puts it in a forever block. Then, he tosses it to Pico. Pico gets stuck onto Kaj.
PICO: *grunt* I can’t get away!
