Wii U Modding/Homebrew Topic

Sup y'all, it's me Koki! God, it's been a while since I've posted on here but recently, I noticed that nobody talked about Wii U homebrew but rather Wii homebrew. So, I set out to make this topic as a way for fellow Wii U Modders of Scratch to talk on here and chat about custom environments, apps, developing Wii U homebrew, and community updates!

Sup! I created it just in case there were any wii u modders on here, which I have met one. Right now I was developing a homebrew app and I am currently looking for graphics libraries.

I have a Wii U and my dad thought about modifying the Wii U to get online play back. My dad doesn't know how.

Look up tutorials on Aroma for the Wii U and Pretendo for Aroma. Pretendo is a custom server for the Wii U that works for many popular Wii U games and services, and Aroma is the environment in which it and other useful mods run. If you get Aroma, I think you should also look into Bloopair, which allows non-Wii U controllers like Switch or Playstation controllers to be connected to the console!

Yeah, video tutorials tend to get outdated quickly, and it would be harder to make a new video that shows how to use the newer methods or other new apps. Wii U web guides, on the other hand, can be edited quickly. Unless the person running it is inactive.

The plugin is available for download on the first forum post. Use the guide that EngineerRunner posted to set it all up.
