delete completely unused accounts (not rejected)
Can you please elaborate?(#99)but people might never be able to use scratch againBy making a new account and actually using it. They're not going to be IP banned or anything, just the account will be deleted. That person could still make a new account and use it.but how would someone be able to use scratch ever again snip

No, they could still make a new account. Again, there's nothing stopping them from doing so if this suggestion is implemented.(#99)but people might never be able to use scratch againBy making a new account and actually using it. Support!
This would be very useful.
Though I wish you could use usernames of deleted accounts.. I just want 888superin back.

(#100)Why not? They can simply create a new account, with a different username, but even the same email. Say I make an account called 0_scratch_tabs, and that's my only account, and it lives up to its name. There is no activity on it at all. It gets deleted after 2 years, but if I come back 3 years later and decide I want to use Scratch again, I can just create an account called 1_scratch_tab, and then I'm back!
but people might never be able to use scratch again
Could you elaborate on your concern?
realizes he wasn't on the last page of the topic and that question had been answered *facepalm*

tl;dr. automatically delete accounts older than 6 months that have basically not done anything. their only activity (besides anything not requiring an account) will just be joining scratch.
6 months is too little, i made a old scratch account 2 years ago, used it for…..nothing. Then a year later i decided to get back on track. If this was the case, id have to make a new account which isnt the best.
Also, what about users who havent verified their email in 6 months?

How is it not the best? Sure, it sucks, but Scratch would probably email you about your account

Some could be scratchers if they joined really early in Scratch are a new scratcher and not part of scratch team
