Option to turn off confirmation to delete sprites
I generally find this annoying that I have to do more stuff just to get rid of a sprite but though why not add a option for this
There could be a option in account settings to disenable this confirmation check for deleting sprites in a project and which it gets rid of the check for all of projects or you could go into a project settings then disenable the check for only that project

Option to turn off confirmation to delete sprites
You might wanna try looking through your browser extensions and see if there's anything related to Scratch.
I would elaborate further, but I don't think I can without getting in trouble.

This is not a browser extension feature, it is an actual feature that was implemented today.

No, that person likely means the settings that have the high contrast blocks, which would allow people to turn off the confirmation when logged out. This would not be per project.that's the second point I bring up tho……..I don't think in Account Settings, but in project settings I generally find this annoying that I have to do more stuff just to get rid of a sprite but though why not add a option for this

Option to turn off confirmation to delete sprites
Or just make it skippable with a shift-click or a long tap for mobile

but then were back to square one with ze accidents (in my opinion, sometimes i double click buttons instead of single clicking) Or just make it skippable with a shift-click or double-click for mobile

It used to be hidden behind right click, or through the scissors tool. Or just make it skippable with a shift-click or a long tap for mobile![]()

Option to turn off confirmation to delete sprites
Many might not want the confirmation every single time they delete a sprite, and there are likely other ways other than what you suggested or the confirmation. And how would it be better if users could disable the warnings completely?

hang on, I think I misunderstood something. Are you saying it just by default requires double clicking, or it by default needs the notice and turning off the notice makes double clicking do it instead? And how would it be better if users could disable the warnings completely?but then were back to square one with ze accidents (in my opinion, sometimes i double click buttons instead of single clicking) Or just make it skippable with a shift-click or double-click for mobile

Option to turn off confirmation to delete sprites
When the user does a long tap - I edited the post to say long tap - it would skip the confirmation for that single time and delete the sprite. This is a common design pattern I noticed in Scratch extensions but that doesn't make it the best solution or anythinghang on, I think I misunderstood something. Must everything be optional? It's a nice feature, and who deletes more than 10 sprites at a time anyway?

Option to turn off confirmation to delete sprites
I mean, maybe not the best reasoning, but someone might delete 10 sprites at a time if they're trying to find one specific sprite that is hidden (you could scroll down, and there could be many sprites that it's hard to tell what is what), which is what I did in a lot of cases due to the sprite pane bug that makes it extremely difficult to scroll through the sprite pane, having multiple files at first but later moving everything, and being on mobile (since you can't backpack scripts, so a workaround is putting the script in a sprite or just wanting all of the scripts of multiple sprites) Must everything be optional? It's a nice feature, and who deletes more than 10 sprites at a time anyway?
There might be other reasons why someone would want to turn it off though, like just not wanting to confirm every single time or knowing about the restore button.

To see what you mean, I created 10 sprites and deleted them again. Saying it is “time consuming” is a huge overstatement. If you spam click, you could accidentally delete a sprite. It took me thirty seconds to delete all my sprites at once. It took longer to create them.me Must everything be optional? It's a nice feature, and who deletes more than 10 sprites at a time anyway?
