Welcome to CloudReview!

To access data in your shop, please go to our project (found in homepage) and type in myshops. Then type the number next to your shop's name (1 for now) and press enter to switch pages. Typing back from there will get you to your shops' page, and tying main to the main page.

You are going to be given a choice regarding reviews of your shop. You can either tell customers who get an order completed at your shop to come here (with the link, please) and ask for a review if they have time, OR replace your review form at the City Shop with the one below, and offer it to customers after completing an order, then posting it in here when they've completed it in your thread (please add the link of that post too) so that a review can be added to our system.

The first option gives you less work, while the second one probably ensures a greater amount of reviews.

The form in question (some blanks are already filled out, please do not change these):

By the way, to the owners of The Record Scratchers, CodnArt Coven and Da_BFBM_shop:

You are being given the same options as the owner of The City Shop. Please respond to this post if you want to add the CloudReview form to your own shops.

I've already placed it on my own shop as a secondary option.

When you add it plesae use the following form with the ToS link:

Username:

Shop to review: CodnArt Coven
Proof of order completion at the shop: n/a
Have you read the CloudReview Terms of Service?
Other:

You are already listed as a Multi-purpose shop. We do not list the orderable items shops provide, just assign them into categories. That way, category rankings can be established.

Yes, just substitute your current review form for the one I posted. Don't forget the link to our ToS! And every time some fills it out, just repost it here with the link to the original post at your shop's thread.

I would not reccomend doing that. Firstly, people might not know the reviews take place through CloudReview, a longer process and through methods other than the usual. Secondly, you should add the first time using CloudReview part (it is important for us to add the review) and the CloudReview ToS link and reading question. If you want to slightly modify the form with additional blanks (e.g. positive points, negative points, quote for your shop's homepage…) you can, but please do not fill out our form saying that, for example, the customer has read the CloudReview ToS if the customer has not stated they have.

Added!

EDIT: The system is not working. The review has not yet been added. I will try to do so as soon as possible, but I do not understand what is happening.

EDIT #2: The review should be added now. I have had to add it through a different method than usual, but it should be working.

Hello everyone!

The CloudReview system has not worked properly over the past few days, and the reason for this is still unknown. Therefore, I have had to temporarily disable this service until it works.

To let you understand a bit about the problem, I'll tell you about how CloudReview works. The system uses a total of 10 cloud variables: 9 store shop data (those variables you see whenever you access your shop's data by using myshops) and one stores pending reviews (user and shop). Whenever I add a review, I use the project with some special features only available to system managers to change the value of that last cloud variable to add the new review, so that whenever the person reviewing opens that project, their computer checks the value of the variable and sees they have a review pending, then starts the reviewing process. After the user has reviewed the shop, that person's computer calculates the new shop rating averages and changes the 9 cloud variables which store their value (and those of the other shops) to include the new ratings.

However, the changes to cloud variables' values while using the project have not been working, for some reason. They do work while the project is still running, but later reset to the previous ones when it is reloaded. They are still recorded in the cloud variable log (for some reason, the last value assigned to a cloud variable in the log does not correspond with the value appearing in the project). There is a way to prevent this from happening, however, but it only works with me, as it consists in changing the value from the project editor by using blocks. This is not possible for the rest as your “edits” to the project will not be saved.

I am going to repost this in the Help with Scripts forum. If I manage to get help we'll be able to reopen sooner, but I do not know if this will be possible.

Thanks for your patience.
