I own “Super Smash Bros. U” and I have NEVER heard it get called that. It's either SSB4 or SSB for Wii U. I've never heard it be called SSBU.
(But honestly Brawl and Ultimate are way better)

I'm teaching my whole family to play this

My Mom mains Mewtwo and has been getting consistently decent hit % on level 3 cpus
One sibling mains Lucina and has beaten me/gotten close multiple times but doesn't utilize her potent air game yet
The other sibling mains Bayonetta and doesn't like playing but REALLY likes the huge smash attacks

Hey guys! I saw this dicussion and was like, YES.
I love this game, and I would love to play with someone, I can set up an arena if ever.
So, I have Fighter Pack 2 (i think) and I have a few different mains. I main Cloud, Samus (sorta), Link, Lucina, and some others.
I also play Captain Falcon cuz yeah (Falcon.. PAAAAAWNCH!).
I would say that I'm semi-pro level (sometimes lose to a level 9 CPU tho)
If anyone wants to play, just ask me to set up an arena!

Whenever I played Ultimate at my cousin's house, I played as Mega Man, so I guess he'd count as my first main.
When I got the game for myself, I main the Mii Gunner (and sometimes Sora).

About 5-6 years ago, when I played SSB4, I used to pick the 8-player Smash mode (for no reason, SSB4 had 8-Player Smash as its own mode), grab eight Jigglypuffs and try to guess who'd win. We called it Jigglypuff Betting (even though we didn't bet anything, we'd just guess who'd win and support them) and multiple times I tried to arrange sessions of it at set times (again with no prize, don't arrest me)

I like to do stuff like that in SSBU except I'm playing with them too. The first 5 seconds are absolute auditory chaos X3

Uptilt into back air is super satisfying to land (Edit: Especially when you're not good at it)
And also he just generally felt super cool which was what kept bringing me back
