Picoboard with Scratch 2.0
I have recently purchased a Picoboard as an experiment to see whether they would be a good classroom resource. At the moment I have mixed feelings about this, as I have come up against a couple of problems.
1. When I went to Add extension -> Picoboard a window came up saying I needed to download the plugin for Windows which I promptly did. When I tried to run this file nothing happened and I just get a red dot meaning the browser plugin has not been installed. Does anybody know how to solve this problem?
2. Because I couldn't get the Picoboard to work with the online verison of Scratch I decided to test out whether it would work on version 1.4 and it did! Well, sort of! Everything worked apart from the resistance clips. When I plugged these into the board,, keeping the alligator clips apart, the resistance sensor value was showing 0, indicating a connection which there wasn't! Is that a problem with the board?
As you can probably tell from the rambling nature of the questions, I am a novice, so apologies if I am unclear on certain point. Will be hugely appreciative on any help you could offer.
