Then this is back to the normal suggestion forums, also votes dont help anything be constructive.

Yes, but do you realize how few users use the suggestion forums?

Yes, yes I do. It isn't a polling service, we should stop acting like suggestions should be. The only reason theres less people is because not as much people know of it. At most we should advertise the forums more, but voting for things to be added will not help. it would lead to flamewars and other nasties.

And where will Scratch obtain the time, money, and resources to implement a feature every 6 months, may I ask?

1 year later… scratch is probably still in the same state it is.

DEMOOOCRACCCYYYYY CACAWWWW

If scratch wanted the community to “vote” on features, then they would do a poll thing. But they haven't because they don't want that.

It was a rhetorical question. And if they obtained what I said in a year, why do we so rarely get major updates? We typically get them every few years at minimum, let alone every 6 months

If this were implemented without restrictions, there would be no assurance that the features met the goals and vision of the Scratch Team - not to mention the available resources. I can see a more restricted version where certain features, that met the aforementioned, were put up for vote to help set priorities.

The 2nd biggest plot twist of all time. As long as the ST presents the suggestions like Paddle2See says I can see it working.

It may be best to get a developer in to give their two cents, as they’d have to be the ones implementing this.

If this happens to get implemented; I recommend that the ST pairs the most wanted suggestions from this very forum, and the users (site-wide, not forum-wide) vote.

Scratch is not a democratic independent nation™
and I worry if this was added if this would cause drama in the community and with the Scratch Team
