The Scratch Foundation's budget is mostly focused on making sure Scratch doesn't explode. You'd be surprised at how much is just dedicated to maintenance. They don't have the budget to make a movie about Scratch. Plus, the Foundation encourages user creativity. So if you ask any Scratch Team member, they'll just tell you to make it yourself. After all, what brought you here?

I've seen some pretty good Scratch “movies” made by other Scratchers.

The problem with a Scratch Movie is that there isn't much backstory in Scratch to begin with. The Scratch Cat itself is simply just a mascot who mainly encourages kids to program. I'm not sure what a movie about that would look like. Something would have to be done to ensure that this does not turn out like the Minecraft Movie…

The scratch team has never ever confirmed or talked about making a scratch movie. pretty unlikely.
You could make one on scratch though.

I highly doubt a scratch movie would be made. Movies are expensive to make. Scratch would rather spend money on making sure the site can function. It might be made if a company reaches out to them and offers to make one. I don't think that would happen, but it's a possibility.

Until Kaj escapes from banland!
Kaj sucks all the energy units so he can be really powerful
Since there are no more energy units to keep scratch going the servers go down and everything stops working.
Kaj kicks paddle2see in the (no no) and gets a hold of the ban hammer
Kaj starts banning everyone
But fun_blueberry_pancake comes in a karate chops Kaj and takes the ban hammer
Then he bangs Kaj with the ban hammer 939484584858585848848585 POWER STRENGTH and gets teleported back to banland.
Then everyone else gets unbanned.

To piggyback off of this, Scratch is a non-profit site, that in the grand scheme of things isn't a part of larger pop culture. A full-scale movie that would appear in movie theaters needs to be marketable to a wide audience, and I don't think a movie based off of Scratch could be that.

But, there is nothing stopping you from imagining what it might look like. Is Scratch Cat an ordinary orange cat? Is he animated and looks like how he does when you make a brand new project? What adventures or mysteries could they uncover? The process of picturing it might be more interesting than what Hollywood decides would be the next big blockbuster.

I would laugh so hard if they recreated my recreation of a certain disclaimer LOL or included it
