Imagine if we add all of those to the list though… that would sure make the list longerObviously illegal suggestions like “Make Scratch buy mansions with users' credit cards” don't need to be added, however, if they aren't so obviously illegal and have been suggested a few times before then there might be a reason to add them. Must we add every illegal action to this list?

confirmed rejected by Paddle2SeeHmm… I used to have it on the list as the following: i would suggest “remove the suggestions forum” be added, as it keeps coming up and it has been
Remove the “Suggestions” forumI must have removed it for some reason, but I can't find the reason anymore. I suspect that it was not frequently suggested. How frequently has it been coming up lately? Does anyone have concrete examples? I found a similar rejection post from 2016 by @cheddargirl who claims that this is not a serious suggestion, and I'm inclined to agree.
This forum is useful for the Scratch Team to see what feedback Scratchers have about the website. Regardless of whether these suggestions will be implemented, the Scratch Team still uses this forum to get an idea of how to improve the website. Furthermore, it promotes discussion of the benefits and downsides of a particular user's suggestion. Despite what it may seem, the Scratch Team does check this forum, and there have been a number of suggestions made in this forum that have since been implemented.
Thanks; I added a brief note about video chat to 6.4.video chat. The reason why I am making this suggestion is because there was someone who said this:Rejection proof: Add “Add video chat” to TOLORS. It's pretty obvious why, because it's This topic closed by CheddarGirla problem with scratch that you only see text and you cannot see people faces or hear their voice and think its a better to communicate in scratch it would be MORE FUN and scratch is safe for kids so this would not be dangerous for kids on scratchOf course it was closed due to COPPA, but I don't want others who don't know what COPPA is to suggest the same thing.
No need to make a new thread anymore! this loads so fast now props to jeffalo if they did that

Not to my knowledge. Is having a extra rank above managers rejected? Like senior managers?
I don't think I need to add “Merge Scratch and Snap” to the list due to not being suggested often. As for Scratch+, I'm not really sure what that is, but at the moment it sounds like an “Advanced mode,” which I am not adding to the list due to reasons I have said before. If someone can find specifically what Scratch+ refers to, I can look into it.Pretty sure it was Scratch+ was rejected, could someone find the topic?this topic (collab with Snap!)

.Just a notice:Can someone verify that this topic creator is fluent in Spanish, and has rewritten the list without many errors? I like to verify that any translations are mostly accurate before I add them to the main list.
The TOLoRS has been translated to Spanish (https://scratch-mit-edu.ezproxyberklee.flo.org/discuss/topic/418345/), please update it.
Um Lat. Am. Spanish is my native Language, and while the text is understandable, it gives of the vibe it was translated with the help of a translator… some verbs are used semi-incorrectly, huge words no one uses anymore, stuff like that. I think it's worth adding to the list, but it's outdated.
Coincidentally, I talked to Paddle about taking over Spanish TOLORS and retranslating is a couple months back, but the plan never went out of planning.

It’s a suggestion of a new version of scratch which is more advanced like we have scratchjr, scratch in my suggestion it’d be scratchjr, scratch, scratch+. It was rejected by cheddargirl cause snap exists already and it wouldn’t be fair to stomp on their work with scratch+ or something. .I don't think I need to add “Merge Scratch and Snap” to the list due to not being suggested often. And it seems like the user might not know Spanish, on their profile comments when you spoke Spanish all the user said is “Tolors?” Which could (but does not necessarily) mean that they only understood “tolors” out of what you said. Of course I also don’t wanna make assumptions and rumors, cause they may in fact do know Spanish..Just a notice:Can someone verify that this topic creator is fluent in Spanish, and has rewritten the list without many errors? 1.2 “When stop sign clicked” hat block
This block would allow users to click the stop sign to run a script. However, the stop sign is designed to stop all the scripts in the project. With this block in place, more scripts will start when you want the project to stop, thus defeating the purpose of the stop sign. Regardless, there are workarounds for this block using the timer or ghost effect blocks; these can be found in this post or this post.
This suggestion extends to any block that causes a script to be run as a result of the stop sign being clicked, not just the specific hat block below. For more information, see this post.
when stop sign clicked :: events :: hat
Yeah good idea cause the workaround is simple:
when green flag clicked
forever
set [ variable] to ((timer) + (0.01))
end
when [ timer] > (variable)
…

Another thing:
6.4 Live commenting or streaming
This refers to some system where you would not need to refresh the webpage to see new comments that are posted. Some Scratchers think this would be convenient if you are engaged in a conversation with someone so that the conversation moves more quickly (somewhat like how texting works). However, aside from the technological barriers this would bring, it would also put a greater emphasis on the social media aspect of Scratch, moving the focus away from the project-creating aspect. Indeed, project creating is intended to be the primary focus of Scratch.
Streaming is similarly rejected, as is video chat, as they are forms of live commenting. With streams, it is easy to share personal information without anyone being able to report it, which the Scratch Team does not want to risk. Although one solution would be to have the Scratch Team moderate the streams, they do not have the resources to do that effectively.
That would change everything but I don’t get how streams would work
2.1 Adding users to work on projects
Having multiple Scratchers work on the same project would be difficult to moderate not only due to technological limitations but also because it could lead to private messaging; for more information, see #7.1 on this list. This suggestion includes live editing (similar to Google Docs) and other forms of private collaboration. If you would like to work on a project with another Scratcher, you can remix each others' projects.
That’s so agreed cuz it would be like getting hacked kind of
8.2 Add a rank above Scratcher or allow users to skip the New Scratcher status
There are three ranks: New Scratcher, Scratcher, and Scratch Team. The only reason the New Scratcher rank exists is to prevent spam, and since it only takes a few weeks to become a Scratcher, bullying and separation are rather minimal. Similarly, the Scratch Team rank exists so users know who is on the Scratch Team; note that Scratch Team members do not brag about the Scratch Team rank. In contrast, there may be division in the community between Scratchers and those with a higher rank, which could also lead to bragging and bullying. This also includes a “verified Scratcher” status where well-known Scratchers get a special symbol next to their name.
Although the restrictions for New Scratchers may seem annoying, they are extremely effective against spam and inappropriate content. For New Scratchers who are wondering how to become a Scratcher or what it means to be one, check out this post. The Scratch Team will not allow any accounts to “skip” the New Scratcher status, even if it is an alternate account of an existing account.
I think the first one would be good to add but the second one is not gonna slide ever

Yeah so basically the idea is if you get 1K followers you become “verified Scratcher”.Good Idea, But I See That Its Rejected This also includes a “verified Scratcher” status where well-known Scratchers get a special symbol next to their name.
But you have to already be a Scratcher and you must be on Scratch for at least 3 months.
