I read y'alls replies. I understand. But I would like to at least be able to use stuff like: |˶˙ᵕ˙ )ﾉﾞto be allowed because its still cute and funny.

I think they won't let you do it because it could be spammed

some ascii art takes lots of space
especially if its a high quality image

Take a reminder that ASCII art can be abused by some people.

Even aside from those who make inappropriate images or spam the same image over and over — text art as a whole is not really constructive. This is why it should not be posted on project comments, for instance — text art does not explain what the project creator did well or what they could improve on.

more things to report = more reports for ST = slower time in reports being received and taken action on = more people seeing inappropriate content before ST gets to reviewing it = more traumatized children

We don't allow for ASCII art on the Scratch website because of spam reasons.

As for kaomojis, we haven't blocked it outright, but be aware that using it a lot (and especially outside cases of being a mood indicator) could be interpreted as spam (and thus a violation of the “give helpful feedback” rule of the Community Guidelines).

It tends get really spammy and repeated a lot - so it takes up space on the site pages and in the servers, Sorry, but I don't think that policy will change anytime soon.
