Hi! I noticed this project while browsing the forums, and REALLY liked it! I can't wait to see what it'll be able to do! However, I didn't really like the logo, and made you two new ones to choose from. See them here and here.

It all depends on what you want to do. GIMP is good for raster graphics, and Inkscape is good at vector graphics.

Done - at least I've commited it client-side but haven't yet pushed it to Github as I am working on a major update/full release.
