I feel like the fact that the white background and yellow navbar and black text would cause strain on eyes of some
which kinda ruins the whole point
Right?

Though apparently to the op only navbar and text contrast is important, not the entire background

Oh help not another gradient suggestion
Okay it doesn't look that bad, but this would definitely hurt my eyes after a while.
Most of Scratch is already used to the purple by now, but since it's still split between “bring back the blue!!!” and “purple team!!!” wouldn't this just split the website further? It would be chaos!

Oh help not another gradient suggestionExactly. Purple is similar to blue, and even that caused chaos, so if a color that’s almost the polar opposite of blue became the color, it would drive insanity among many

Yellow is my favorite color n all but this is a horrible idea lmao, yellow is WAY to saturated and scratch just changed the color from blue to purple anyway. This would only cause more problems tbh

The proposed colour does look pretty, but I don't think Scratch is ready for another change so soon.Oh help not another gradient suggestionExactly. And if people did become insane from it, it would probably rub off on everyone else as well…

Idk. All I know is that I would quit scratch if this happened. My rage would be unimaginable. /hjThe proposed colour does look pretty, but I don't think Scratch is ready for another change so soon.Oh help not another gradient suggestionExactly. Sorry, but I don't want the Scratch Color Scheme to look like a bee.

it just seems a little bit too “tech-startupy” to me
