Scroll bar tag for the forums. :)

This would work similarly to how the code tag works when the text is too long. v

Basically, not a single tag works as intended when in the code tag.

Also, the scroll tag would not put it in a quote box. v

This is a “quote box”

It would be an invisible box instead.

This is not a duplicate of https://scratch-mit-edu.ezproxyberklee.flo.org/discuss/topic/112106/ because it's not suggesting a tag and is specifically for signatures, while I'm suggesting a tag that works in both posts and signatures.

If there is another topic that suggests the same thing then please link it.

This would be a very small QoL change, but a useful one; I support! Perhaps there could be a vertical version with height as a # of lines?

mmm yeah honestly it’s gonna be helpful with long as heck posts (usually detailed ones in suggestions)

though will we be able to change the height of the scroll box? since if it’s capped at a short length, some posts can be very tedious to scroll through

I really don't see why we need this, long forum posts are usually not THAT lengthy unless they are spam. Also the code forum tag legit does what you would usually use this for (programming code) as shown below it looks well and good enough. How would it also determine how long before it added a scroll bar?

Have you seen some of the OPs these days, they're really long, possibly even justifying a scroll bar.

Remember that code tags can't have emojis or scratchblocks. This is suggesting an alternative that can.
