Hello everyone. AlexStudiosinc here. We have heard about the Lego education Spike prime system. And recently, we have also heard of the recently announced Lego Mindstorms 51515, which also runs on Lego Spike Prime. So in this case, I would like to show an extension that could work for the Lego Spike prime. These below are the scratch blocks that can be added for the extension

regular blocks

Turn motor [1 v] this way for (...)seconds

Turn motor [1 v] that way for (...)seconds

hat blocks

when button [1 v] pressed

when color [1 v] detects (color)

sensors

(motor [1 v] position)

(distance)

(brightness)

These are just examples of the blocks that can be added to the 3.0 extension. as of now, I hope you enjoyed this forum.

Any updates about a new Scratch extension for SPIKE Prime? LEGO just announced that EV3 will be retiring.

Lego is trying to make their own block programming language . Anyway scratch team need to collaborate to update existing extensions and adding new ones too.

Both free apps for SPIKE Prime and LEGO robot inventer feature scratch-based coding, so rather than getting an extension here, you have to get the app and code with sratch there

Is that so!? Why ‘buying in’ to that vicious circle, they are excellerating deliberately? Stick with whatever you have as long as it works. Me, I'm happy with WeDo 1 for as long as the offline version of scratch (2.0) reads it. It is limmited technically. So what - anything is!
The Scratch team might focus on the existing extensions, and let all the companies contribute code for their stuff themselves. Since the values are ‘Creative Expression’ and ‘Equitable Opportunities’ this extension business shall be handled with care. - It is not the core!

Lego powered up is similar to Mindstorms.

I really hope they add a lego mindstorms robot inventor extension, especially because soon they are retiring the mindstorms coding app!
