Restricted Use of Scratchblocks

Suggestion: Restricted Use of Scratchblocks
I thought of a way to combat blockspam. (This might be a dupe, I only scrolled through about 10 Ocular posts .)

What if users with less than 50 posts could not use the Scratchblocks? (They would be allowed to in HwS and the Testing Topic, though.)

Nope, that way it would only take a troll about an hour to spam.

They’d get shut down way before they reach that point.

new scratchr 2 mins per post
2x50 = 100 mins
40 more minutes
must post again and again
100 minutes of pure forums is hard even for trolls
that is why it is not that small of a restriction.

They would only be allowed to in the OP.
You can still make a new topic + what if someone with less than 50 posts wanted to help?

They could link a project with the code in it/provide a screenshot of correct code/describe the code.

That's too tedious + New Scratchers can't use images

What if they're suggesting a new block?

It really isn’t, if they want to help out a lot.

sometimes you don't have to show — you can just describe the block

Not everyone knows how to edit a project's .json to change the block's looks and screenshot the block, then put the image in their post.

What would be an example of needing to change the blocks’ looks?
(sorry if I’m coming off as aggressive)

no support - sometimes people need really long scripts. I've seen really constructive posts with a lot of blocks in hws (including some of mine, though i doubt there are more than 50).

That’s not what I’m suggesting. It’s not about the number of blocks in the scripts, it’s about the number of forum posts that the user has. This rule does not apply to Help with Scripts.

Ive used over 80 custom blocks in certain posts, this would be annoying when I'm trying to explain certain difficult topics
no support

Edit: if this is a limit on newer scratchers posts, then semi support because there are new scratchers who use their blocks constructively who don't have many posts but I've also seen a lot of block spam in topics.

sorry, I misread the first post.
but still no support because as mentioned before - 1) not everyone knows how to change the json AND there isn't any official tutorial on scratch which makes it even worse, 2) what does “who says that they're new scratchers” mean?? #11, 3) why 50 posts? that's a weird arbitrary number, why just make it into a rule for new scratchers like all the other spam-related restrictions?
