Are you allowed to use AI to answer questions on the Scratch forums?
To clarify, I don't mean just using AI to help you phrase something concisely, or something like that. I mean having an AI generate an entire response to a question, and then copy-pasting the whole thing into a post, changing nothing, and acting like you wrote the post yourself. Is this allowed?
If I suspect a user is doing this, could I use Contact Us to tell my concerns to the Scratch Team? Obviously I have no way of knowing for certain whether they're doing this, but I think it's relatively likely.
Edit: Please do not tell specific users if you think they're breaking the guidelines!!! This is something for the Scratch Team to deal with. There's a reason I didn't mention the user I'm thinking of in this post.

Note that AI can be inaccurate. You probably need to say the post was written by AI, but I'm no expert at this.

Temp closing for cleanup of misinformation posts, and removal of their responses to them to prevent derailment.
Reopened.
Outside cases of a person is using AI for post assistance, use of AI would not okay for the following reasons:
1) A person looking for answers in the discussion boards are looking for help from a person. If someone wanted to get an AI-generated answers, there's no point they would be asking here instead of seeking help directly from ChatGPT (associated with Microsoft), Bard/Gemini(associated with Google), or some other AI service.
2) The answers posted by AI can sometimes be inaccurate or topic-derailing, and spreading misinformation or posting derailing spam is not okay. It's in violation of the “Give helpful feedback” guideline (formerly the “Be constructive” guidelines.
