Then they would get muted for spam/advertising… (they are included on the same message) If it were blacklisted, what would happen if someone triggered it? They're not saying a bad word, so the ST would have to do a separate message exclusively for that.

That's their fault. Not many scratchers think that way, especially after seeing the similarities, between Scratch and other websites like Youtube…Followers don't matter though, so I don't see the harm in following someone like this.Remember this site's userbase are all kids. Why can't you just ignore the message and not follow them?

is this phrase really that bad to be banned? people could always get around the censor by rephrasing themselves…

I'm assuming the OP would suggest having specific phrases, like “following” or “challenge” that are next to each other or in the same sentence. Then again, this would lead to other filter issues. OP, do you mind elaborating a little bit? is this phrase really that bad to be banned? people could always get around the censor by rephrasing themselves…

i've never seen thisBut seeing this spammed everywhere justifies why it should be censored by the filter. It doesn't hurt anyone to follow someone though? I really don't see the issue.

How? By banning a phrase that's harmless and easily by-passable?And Scratch aims to fix this fault that occurs on it's scratchers…That's their fault. Not many scratchers think that way, especially after seeing the similarities, between Scratch and other websites like Youtube…Followers don't matter though, so I don't see the harm in following someone like this.Remember this site's userbase are all kids. If you see the comment once you can just ignore it
If someone keeps posting it over and over you can report it for spam.
It's not inherently harmful and doesn't need to be banned.

How? By banning a phrase that's harmless and easily by-passable?FARFR (Frequently Answered Reasons For Rejection)
1. It's quite harmless, so I don't see why it should be censored…
So is chainmail, it's quite harmless and you can ignore it, but due to it's spammy nature, the filter blacklists a few popular types of chainmail, same thing here, except it is just like advertising in disguise of an “experiment”…

Even if we were to ban it, people can just use different wording to bypass this. and easily by-passable

This is much harder to filter(#74)OBJECTION!
I've never seen this happen, but again if people are spamming it then you can report them for spam
ASCII art has been counted as spam and has many of them on the filter. Thus, filtering this is fair play.
HOLD IT!
Even if it is hard to do so, it is still a good idea to add this to the filter, because it is spamming. Even if rephrasing it isnt blocked at first, the ST can collect more phrases from reports and add them to the filter too,

“”Eureka!“ is a speech bubble used by Miles Edgeworth and Gregory Edgeworth when they deduce something about a crime scene using evidence.”
Not to forget the mention of the fact that they would still deal with much less spam by adding this to the filter.
If we were to just censor the whole phrase rather than the individual words would could make writing a normal comment unfeasibly impossible, then we already filtered it without issue!

Sorry, a bit confused by this phrase “Unfeasibly impossible” are you saying its unfeasible that it would be impossible or that its impossible?
