Rethink Blocking Scratch as an Image Host
When I'm at school, NO IMAGES will show up (except for previously hosted ones), most scratchers use SCHOOL DEVICES. Whenever one edits their post, they won't be able to keep their image. Unless you add another free image host trusted by schools or educational sites, then using scratch images should STILL be allowed.
Please not that this isn't completely rejected, as it hasn't been rejected since a new update.
Here are all faulty's with current system:

Here are all faulty's with current system:
- THESE IMAGES ARE STILL ABLE TO BE UPLOADED!! AND USED IN SIGNATURES, PEOPLE CAN SPAM BY JUST MAKING A BUNCH STILL, THE NEW METHOD SOLVES NOTHING!
- Cubeupload goes down always.
- Those other image hosts are PAID, the one that isn't (cubeupload) goes down a lot and is unstable…
- Scratch literally holds animations with tons of frames, like i've seen MANY with 1000+ and they are really big vectors.

Support because the ability to show project thumbnails on the forums should still be possible, but because the forums now use the same filter as the comments, thumbnail links are blocked. However, the ability was never intended to be removed. By the way, you can still use assets by doing https://mv-ezproxy-com.ezproxyberklee.flo.org/scratchr2/static/.%2E/.%2E/(insert image here).(insert extension here) .

The “new” filter uses the previous filter and the mainsite filter, and the cause was the images being blocked beforehand on the mainsite.Because the new filter hasn't even been a thing for a day yet. I'm thinking the main problem about using cdn2 and assets as image hosts might be that the Scratch Team may not have enough storage for people to keep doing that.
If that is the case, then adding a dedicated image host would just redirect the problem elsewhere instead of fixing the problem.

This still may be rejected.
9.5 Allow files to be uploaded into forum posts
The Scratch Team would have to pay for storage of these files, and they only have a limited amount of resources to do so. Storage space would be better allocated toward Scratch projects, anyway. There is also the issue of someone uploading a file that can potentially cause harm to someone's computer. Searching through these files would require significantly more moderation work, and there are not enough moderators able to do the job at the moment.

Images don't waste This still may be rejected.that much space. A 1080P PNG picture only takes up around 2MB of storage. A project, especially those as massive as Chirpy Reverie, takes up a lot more space.9.5 Allow files to be uploaded into forum posts

Anyways (and possibly jokes aside), project thumbnails and profile pictures are still not allowed to be linked and reallowing them wouldn't fall under that thing. Plus, it's talking about general files, not images.

Each project on scratch uses one assets link for the thumbnail and I'm guessing the costumes. It can't take that much space. I'm thinking the main problem about using cdn2 and assets as image hosts might be that the Scratch Team may not have enough storage for people to keep doing that.

That's because Scratch is an educational platform.(#1)How do you know?
most scratchers use SCHOOL DEVICES
Then they could use multiple images that aren't uploaded for the post.(#1)What if you want multiple images in a post?
A user would have to wait 10 minutes between each image.

Remember, something doesn't count as rejected if you add a solution. This still may be rejected.9.5 Allow files to be uploaded into forum posts

A good idea would be a built in image uploader (for scratchers)
A user would have to wait 10 minutes between each image. And no more than 25 images in 24 hours
If an inappropriate image is uploaded, you can reported so ST takes it out of it's server
You mean scratch assets?

That's because Scratch is an educational platform.Education doesn't only happen at school.What? Then they could use multiple images that aren't uploaded for the post.
I propose a new, better limit:
* 4 images every 15 minutes
* 6 images per hour
* 16 images per day
* Unused images are deleted
