Bitmap Graphics?
Hello! Thanks for letting me test Scratch 2.0 ^^
I'm really liking it a lot so far, but I have a concern. In my projects, I usually like to make Pixel Art, and that means I need to be able to use Bitmap Graphics, instead of Vectors. I mean, I like Vectors and all, they're pretty good quality but I am just not very good with them, and prefer to use Bitmaps.
So, I'm asking, is there a way to switch from Vector to Bitmap? And if not, can it be added?
Thanks a bunch!~

I think that you can just import bitmaps, and use an external editor. Unfortunately it is a popular suggestion, but not feature, that you are thinking of.
As well, I think this should go in the “Questions About Scratch” section

Bitmap Graphics?
Hiya pokemongardevoir! This is something we talked a lot about over the years of development. We decided that it would be too complicated / confusing to allow people to switch modes. The current editor will allow you to edit bitmaps though - so if you import a bitmap image, you can change it. But there's no way to switch into “Bitmap” mode to create new bitmaps.
If you have more thoughts on this, please do share them on this thread:

LightninWhy did you decide vector was the style to use?

I guess you could just make them in a different program and import it over
