If you use brackets first, then it goes in order (-2)-(-6)

Tip
If the equation is like this -a + b , then you can rearrange the equation into b - a.

If it's something like -5 minus 5, then that would be -10. (-+ = -)
If it's something like -5 minus -5, then that would be 0. (– = +)
If it's something like 5 minus -5, then that would be 10 (+- = +)
And obviously, 5 minus 5 = 0. (++ = -)
