Getting Scratch Link on chromebook for microbits?
Using scratch 4 school lego robotics for MINDSTORMS EV3. I am trying to figure out how to use it, and nothing in this thread seems to be useful. Any advice?

Yeah, if you go on play store on chromebook you won't find Scratch Link. It only works on PC Windows. I'm not sure.
Oh dang, I was really hoping to use scratch to code for the Micro:bit i have in class

Chromebook doesn't support Scratch Link, so you may have find some other ways, like going on different systems like Windows.

Hi i made it working,
- - you need enable Developer mode in ChromesOS and install something called crouton
- pure debian 11 is OK, so run ]sudo crouton -r bullseye -t core
- then i install pyscrlink it was not clear i need add sudo in front of every command even if they do not ask for it)
- so in the end when i run sudo scratch_link in terminal i was able to connect to all Lego devices extension directly from Chrome
- I used this version of Scratch bricklife.com/scratch-gui

There is such thing to connect but I've never searched about it, scratch is connected to multiple things, is that we don't know much of it

Sorry, but this is not related to the topic. You can see why you are not a Scratcher yet with the New Scratchers subforum.

Getting Scratch Link on chromebook for microbits?
Has anyone found a solution to using the microbit extension on a Chromebook? I can't download Scratch Link on Chrome OS.
Hi,
you don't need Scratch Link on a chrome book, but you do need a special Scratch app. If you use that official Scratch app you can make Scratch projects and connect your micro:bit to Scratch.
