Personally I don't know if I reacted here (cant find anything with ocular) yet but tbh I only like comic sans when used in comedic fashion, not just for an entire site. (eg you know what sans.)

Not everyone, but Comic Sans is one of few fonts that has a literal base of haters. People that loathe the font. That is unique to that font, there is no font more universally hated. I understand your point, some people like Comic Sans, but not many.

Children material is meant to simplify things

Microsoft Bob simplified the Windows desktop

Both used Comic Sans because it is a friendlier font

It might be kind of dyslexic-friendly, I'm not sure though, I can't entirely remember what the font looks like.

Why would it be exclusive to AFD? What if you like Comic Sans and want to use it (like me)?

I can understand having comic sans for like short speech bubbles, but for a website where 100% is made up with text, WHYYYY

I agree. Comic sans would look nice in some places (Ie: Header Bar) but replacing the default site font would look really bad, Semi Support
