“NaN” stands for “Not a Number”, for more info, see NaN (Wikipedia)
Really though it's probably just an issue or there's genuinely nobody there

NaN (Wikipedia)No scratcher from that country? “NaN” stands for “Not a Number”, for more info, see

I've seen few countries (like Somaliland) which showed like there are 0 no. of scratchers in there. But these is not the case with this country. Also I saw many users have this as their location on their profiles.

Why does this country (South Georgia and South Sandwich Islands) show "NaN%" of users in world map in statistics page?
I’d assume it’s because a lot of scratchers use that as a cover location and the ST doesn’t want them in the stats.

(#5)Antarctica is 0% because the ST sets it that way.NaN (Wikipedia)Yeah but Antarctica shows as 0%. “NaN” stands for “Not a Number”, for more info, see

Antarctica as a location is used for Scratchers that don't want to give away their location. Mentioning them in the stats page would be self-defeating.

My guess is that it was added as a location option after they last updated that statistic, a lot of the statistics page is known to be outdated afaik

It's actually a British territory, not a country. Not a real country?South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands
Yeah, this is most likely correct. The Wiki article says that the latter island is uninhabited and there are no permanent residents on the former. the map represents where people actually live and no one lives there hope this answers your question!

Even so, the number should be 0 and not NaN, other uninhabited areas have their numbers as 0. It is most likely just a bug that it says NaN instead of 0. It's probably not possible to know exactly why, unless you are a developer/have access to the site's code.Yeah, this is most likely correct. (#19)It's because of some janky JavaScript somewhereEven so, the number should be 0 and not NaN, other uninhabited areas have their numbers as 0.
