I actually think all these issues could be solved by making the project “premier”
It would show a countdown and the project thumbnail and the project would be visible as “shared” but you wouldn’t be able to play/remix/see inside it until the timer is done counting down
You would be able to comment in the project (if that’s enabled) and read the notes and credits, as well as favorite it (no liking because you can’t like a project if you’ve never seen it)
If the project is favoriteted you would receive a notification 15 minutes and 1 minute prior to the project being launched

Semi-support it would help for certain things like lessening those annoying “make a sequel pls” comments knowing it's going to be shared at a certain time but it is also a thing up to the scratcher themselves as they could simply finish the project then choose to share it on the day or in a few days time

Full support. On New Year's 2021 I wanted to release Astronomical: The Third right as the year hit 2021, and I regretted it missing a small part of the fireworks.

Support, sometimes I make projects beforehand but want to share them at a specific date.
This would help out so much.

Support! I think this would be a great way to multitask projects! like you could be working on project “A” and then project “B” would be shared while your working!

Support! Honestly don't think it will be as confusing to new scratchers as people are saying. I'm pretty sure pretty much everyone knows what time is lol. They could maybe make it so that hovering over the Share button for a bit opens a small menu below it stating what time to share the project.

I think that would be more irritating for Scratchers who want to view the project. If it's unshared, it seems like the Scratcher is busy or something.. but if it's a visible premiere, the Scratchers who view it might feel that the project is so close, but kept tantalisingly out of reach, on purpose. It would be intentional either way, but the premiere just feels worse.

Also, getting notifications for a project that's not even shared yet sounds kind of confusing.. I would be confused myself, receiving that notification. I'd've thought there was a bug.
