For the small audience of Scratchers who are into experimental music, this is the thread for you.

Experimental music is not to be confused with avant-garde music.

A branch of experimental music that especially fascinates me is computer music. This includes artists like Iannis Xenakis, John Chowning, and Pietro Grossi.

So yeah, just talk about experimental music here!

Lowercase music is another experimental subgenre. You could probably guess by the name that it's the tiniest music genre (besides Minimalism and Microsound)

If you like DnB I suggest giving some breakcore a try. breakcore is a bit more loud and aggressive so I suggest turning it down if you have to.

If you like industrial music, check out “Words of the Dying” by Controlled Bleeding. It's a gritty song with an awesome instrumental.
Also do be careful when checking out CB's discography as it does have stuff that's not suitable for children. Youngsters beware!

it's weird cause i don't listen to a lot of experimental music outside microtonal stuff but then i'm like the resident microtonal expert in all the communities i'm in (except the actual microtonal community)

i think my favorite microtonal artist is sevish because he's just a really cool person and is also my biggest inspiration he's really really cool go check his music out my favorite album from him is horixens
