Rain World may be my favorite game of all time. Also has such a great soundtrack. What are some of your favorite tracks on the OST?

[you mean the colored pearl hunter starts with? there should be several normal pearls in farm arrays. there is one in the large room that leads to the gate to sky islands if you go up]

I know exactly the one, and actually took it one time before dying.
I might not go back for it, I can actually get past, it just involves a little luck to let everyone fight and sneak past after they are dead or doing something else (lots of creatures there!) It's pretty funny just watching the fights happen due to the number of explosions.
I did get past twice but both ended with being eaten later on, before I could save in a shelter.

I tried re-listening to its songs on Bandcamp, and was unfortunately disappointed as I remembered it sounding much better. But I think I didn't have headphones at the time so it would make sense.

I think I mostly like the songs because of the feelings I had when I first heard them in-game. My favorite songs are probably Floes, Random Gods, Deep Energy, Stoneheads, and another song whose name I forgot but it played in Garbage Wastes EDIT: Mist Engine. A lot of people like Kayava and I see (or hear) why, though I haven't got around to listening to it yet.

I also like Rooftops because I originally heard it in that old dev video with the slugpups that I rewatched 20 times.

yep, that's hunter. I remember in my first hunter playthrough, I lost all my karma in Outskirts and rage-quitted, because I thought the cycle limit would make re-gaining karma in time nearly impossible. I think I restarted my save a day or two later and decided to go to Sky Islands. (I think that's the harder route.)

I have a few tips on retaining karma as hunter. Starving is very useful, as if you initiate a starve cycle you still get karma. As a result, if you die, you have a net loss of 0 karma. Though surviving a starve cycle is much harder. Echoes are also useful, as they give you max karma. I think if you starve into an echo, you can get max karma without progressing the cycle count. If you're very desperate, you can enable assists in the remix menu.

So I experienced Pipeyard for the first time yesterday, and I just want to know… where are all the shelters?

Jokes aside, I love this region, it feels like it fits so well with the original game and it's really nice to have an alternative to Garbage Wastes after having finished the game many times.
