vector, preferably. It looks cleaner in my opinion. I mean, we can make the overal game in vector but the dialoge can be in pixel. (aka the poses for the characters as they talking on the side of the dialogue rectangle box thing. Kinda like in my RPG but in bitmap not vector lol) Are we doing the game vector art or pixel art?

Could I possibly make a highly customizable physics engine for the player with any special moves we want to include and leave any improvements (mainly to collisions, I can make them but sometimes my code isn’t precise and glitches) to the rest of the coders?

GUYS I HAVE AN IDEA (I'm editing this to include it)
So for the storyline:
The world used to be light. It was peaceful and serene. However, everything changed when the Dark Knights attacked, they stole all of the light and took it to their Shadow Kingdom in the realm of darkness. Our task, as the hero of Glow Town, is to get the light back. (Also the light has a greenish hue). Basically, everything is dark. You are a glowing character who can talk to Glow Town citizens to gain supplies or take on mini tasks (Example - a citizen wants you to find their lost glow kitten) After completing mini tasks, you will be rewarded with items or whatever else you need. You will travel through the world, completing mini tasks and leveling up to get more powerful. You'll also need to get supplies, armor, etc. (That's where an inventory could come in)
There will be a door, the entrance to the realm of darkness. Here, it will basically be like going from the overworld to the Nether, like in Minecraft. More difficult enemies, but higher rewards. We could also have a crafting system. There would be no citizens here, as it's too dangerous. However, you could possibly have pets. The pets could help you in battle, and I'm thinking you could possibly ride the pets. In the realm of darkness, you'll have to find a key. This key will allow you to enter the Shadow Kingdom. There, you will find the MOST difficult enemies, and you might die. (I'm thinking respawn points) After getting far enough into the Shadow Kingdom, you will be put into a boss battle with the Shadow King himself. However, there will be a warning before you go in. This warning will say that once you go in, if you die, then you lose all of your items (but not your level). So people would have to get to a certain level and have enough supplies to be able to defeat the Shadow King. (Also there could be potions and stuff if you need to use them during battle, as well as a hotbar)
