The ability to unfollow closed topics.
As everyone else has said, it clogs up your subscribed topics. That's the only way I can get to topics that are important to me. Now, half of it is a bunch of closed topics that I can't unfollow. I see no reason why this wouldn't be implemented. I'd like to point out that if a topic is closed, you wouldn't get messages from it anyway. This really wouldn't serve a purpose.
Sorry, you have to wait 60 seconds between posts.

Support :]

Personally, I find the list of followed topics useful to see what matters to me and what doesn’t and what I want to go check on again- it gets harder to manage when half of it is just a bunch of cluttered junk from old topics, even if you can’t get notified from it anymore What's the use? You won't be able to receive any more notifications anyway.

here. But when there, you will likely see a closed topic or two there. There's no point in following a closed topic, but if you go to the page to try to unfollow it, you will see that the button isn't there. You likely all know that you can follow topics and receive messages when somebody posts on them. You are able to see a list of them
The suggestion here is the ability to be able to remove this from your list, possibly from the page, or possibly in the topic itself.
This is admittedly a minor issue, but it can clutter up your subscribed pages.
Yes, this is exactly what I was thinking. Although there is a way to get around it.

1. Turn on developer tools.
2. Go to an open topic you have subscribed to.
3. Inspect the unfollow discussion button.
4. Change the delete action’s topic number to your desired topic you want to remove.
5. Click the unfollow discussion button.

Does it really matter if you're following a closed topic? You're not gonna get notifications from it because it's closed, no new posts are going to be made.

If you needed to follow a topic, and it gets closed, and then unclosed you would probably follow it again anyways. What if it gets unclosed Does it really matter if you're following a closed topic? You're not gonna get notifications from it because it's closed, no new posts are going to be made.

Fun fact: Topics can get reopened, so its not even true that you cant get notifications from them anymore, its possible for one to get reopened and give you loads of notifs before you are able to unfollow it

No point for me at least since i am a no lifer that forums ever time i had time lol. Also some user might be annoyed with a lot of closed subscribed topic. this actually small addition that will make a small impact. the annoyance is not that bad so users can ignore it. but if the user wants to visit their important topic they wouldnt be able to do that because the subscribed topic page is full of closed topic.
