Scratch Studios should have writable roles

Scratch doesn't hate the dark theme. The ST is working on one now. (Since I last heard, which was a while ago.)

I think this is unnecessary, and it seems a bit to complicated. How would you create the roles? What perks do roles have? How would create those perks? Would this really help studios? Do curators and managers stay? If not, what happens to the current studios? If they do, do managers and the host control the different roles, or just the host? I don't think that curators and managers are “roles” they're more like “jobs”, and a workaround to this would be writing people's roles in the studio description.

Great idea! But would this be making groups to put people in, or individually giving them roles? Would you choose your role? I think there should be a setting (kind of like “anyone can add projects.”) for if people choose their role.

This can turn studios into workspace like things. Which is cool! It can even spice them up and even make them a bit unique since this was never in the 2.0 studios.
Now why I said workspace like things is because sometimes workspaces have different role names. Like one can be “software engineer” one can be “hardware engineer” and so on.

And it can have checkboxes on things it can do. So one manager manages some things while the other well. Does the other manager things.

i think they mean like creating new roles in a studio that would either have the same permissions as curators or managers, even if it's just changing names it could be used in a useful way

This could add to some inappropriate or mean titles. Only support if there was extensive filtering and the ability to refuse and report titles. Otherwise, absolute support.
